We're on a mission to make a difference, starting with safely transporting our furry friends to Canada! Right now, we have an urgent need for a small crate that fits within these dimensions: 24 x 19, so our dogs can travel securely from Wilton, California.

Time is of the essence, as they'll be making this journey on Sunday to Canada to the open arms of veterans. If you have a crate that meets these specifications, please consider donating - every bit counts! We're still short five crates to make this journey a success.

Please do not adopt a dog if you cannot keep it for its entire life!

If you were renting, please don’t adopt a dog. Unfortunately times are tough right now and people are selling their rental properties. The new person buying the home or the person or management companies are now evicting people with dogs? It’s too unstable for animals in this world, and many of you are experiencing homelessness because of it. It’s not fair for you, your family or dog.

Times are tough, you need to plan ahead who’s gonna take the dog of something should happen to you or you get yourself in this type of situation.

It’s really tough right now we’re getting a lot of calls to help. I am sorry, but most rescues don’t have the resources.

We do not offer low-cost, spay or neuter. We are not a vet’s office. We are a rescue that’s struggling as well. You need to look up your own resources for vet care. Please know, that the costs for rescue is not cheap and vet offices are doing the best they can. Make some calls and do some comparison shopping.

You need to rehome your own dogs or return them to whatever rescue you adopted them from. Make sure you have that info in your adoption paperwork; that you can return the dog if something unexpected comes up and you need to return the dog.

This is Bobbie, the resilient dog who was once roaming freely on Green Road. His journey to capture was certainly not effortless. Look at him now, thriving in his foster home, where he's getting accustomed to his new surroundings and preparing for his final dental procedure in February.
Surrounded by feline friends and canine companions, it's clear he will be adopted to this loving family when his medical is complete.
Given his remarkable progress, it's evident Bobbie is a true survivor, overcoming the challenges posed by his ears, teeth, and a large tumor on his backside. His transformation is truly inspiring.

Thank you everyone who made all this possible and thank you to his new foster to adopt family who love him so much!!

There are a few broken wires on the bob-wire fencing. I pulled the two large holes together as much as i could but did not have any wire to make it fully secure. The sheep have escaped, but a temporary repair has been made to stop more from escaping. Hopefully, owners see this post and make necessary repairs quickly. AC report made - they sometimes can find owner before i can.

All are back in - hopefully they remain in while i find some wire and fix the fence

Further attempts will be made to contact the owner, and in the interim, please exercise caution when traveling on Colony Road, especially near the blue two-story residence on the left heading towards Valensin.

Fosters needed for 9 chihuahuas for only 7 days! I already neutered and their vaccines are up-to-date. We just need someone to step up and take one into their home for seven days. Then they will be on their way to Canada.

These dogs require extensive socialization to thrive, but don't worry, everything is taken care of, including their medical needs and up-to-date vaccinations.

Almost every day we get calls on dogs abandoned in backyards at rental property. Either locked in a home or locked in the backyard with no food or water.

The hoarding situations are absolutely ridiculous in California. Please contact us if you know of any dogs stuck in a home or yard without any food or water.  Call early don’t make these animals suffer. The one little female dog that had a plastic device on her neck died within 24 hours after being rescued and the plastic removed. It’s heartbreaking for all of us. It’s not fair that we need the public to help. See below the information about the LA Rescue group that took the dogs in. We know it’s the holiday season, but if you feel like giving to a great group and cause please consider Jilly
