It's truly heartbreaking to see the city's heavy equipment demolish the homeless camp that had been a refuge for so many for over a year, especially with the harsh winter weather approaching. Yet, amidst the devastation, we found hope. As Leon and I delivered blankets, we reunited with a dog we had rescued and spayed last year, and her tail wagging greeting was a testament to the power of compassion. We also found Grandma, her grumpy but lovable mother, and provided her with food and comfort. This experience reinforces our commitment to helping those in need, and we'll continue to support reduced-cost spay and neuter clinics to make a difference in our community.
