Dear Cherished Clients,
We wanted to address some issues regarding Bone and Bark Inn as well as an incident
involving two of our personal dogs in hopes of shedding some light on the subject and putting
your minds at ease.
There was an unfortunate incident this past November involving two of our beloved rescues,
injuring a fellow Wilton resident after getting out of our fenced in yard. The dogs remain in the
hands of Animal Control and because the case is pending we are unable to discuss the details
at this point, but wanted to let you know that this incident has left us devastated and our
thoughts are with the individual a๏ฌected.
On an additional, but unrelated note, many of you know that the Inn is temporarily closed as
we address a licensing snafu. We are in the process of working closely with The Town of
Wilton and the State Department of Agriculture to remedy this as soon as possible by updating
the building and surrounding grounds so that we can reopen as soon as possible. Your trust
and the health and safety of your dogs remain our highest priority.
Even though we are temporarily closed, we are o๏ฌering clients with either existing packages,
daily needs, or boarding reservations, daily walks, in home pet sitting services, where a
member of our sta๏ฌ stays in your home or makes several visits throughout the day or night.
We are accepting reservations for mid February and beyond in anticipation of reopening
shortly. If you have any questions about your dogโs stay or other details, please reach out to
Maria directly at 203-943-9955 and she will be happy to answer any questions you may have.
Your continued love and support through these last several months has meant the world to us.
We are proud Wilton residents, business owners, and dog rescuers and look forward to continue to serve our beloved community and your dogs in the months and years to come.
With Love,
Maria and Raz
