Winter Glue Ons- Part 2 Feb 1, 10am in Wilton, Maine
Our second workshop will evaluate hoof quality (both hoof wall and solar surface) following an 8 wks shoeing cycle using sigafoos and easy shoe versas. We will review shoe removal techniques, and then glue a fresh set on both horses. This round we will apply one Easy shoe Versa Octo with superglue on one foot and acrylic glue on the opposing foot. We'll also demo the new easyshoe plug insert for preventing sn*******ng. The second horse will be shod using acrylic glue with either the new Easyshoe Speed (composite) or the new Easyshoe Roller (aluminum), pending owner preference. The workspace for this event is climate controlled with great lighting and an attached farrier shop.
