Meet Dr. Fahy's current foster Willoughby. This adorable little guy was found as a stray in TX and has made his way to CT where he has been looking for his perfect home. He is about one year old, 13 lbs, fully vaccinated, and neutered. He is very smart, playful, completely housebroken, and just an overall fun little dog. He has however shown some "growly" behaviors around his toys and food. He can also be a bit grumpy if disturbed while sleeping. He has made very good progress with training and treats to slowly turn around his little attitude! But for these reasons he is looking for a home with no kids. He would love an understanding and patient owner who will continue his training and help bring out the very best in him!

Rabbit Hemorrhagic Disease (RHD) is a highly contagious and deadly virus. A new vaccine is now available to approved veterinarians to protect your pets against this lethal disease.
South Wilton Vet will have an RHD vaccine clinic on Saturday, March 26th and booster on Saturday April 16th by appointment only.

The clinic is a two visit clinic. Rabbits must attend BOTH vaccine days to have full immunity. All rabbits are required by the state to have some form of identification. If your pet isn’t already microchipped we will microchip at the initial vaccine date.

IMPORTANT: Your rabbit has to be in good health and have had a wellness exam within the last year. A brief exam will be performed. If there are any medical concerns your pet WILL NOT be vaccinated. You will be required to make a separate appointment.
NO ADDITIONAL SERVICES WILL BE PROVIDED ON EITHER CLINIC DAYS.

The price per rabbit will be $250 and includes the two vaccines, the microchip and the brief exams.
Full payment will be required when you make the appointment.
A full refund will only be approved if you cancel within 48 hours of your clinic day.

From our friends at SHAGGY DOG RESCUE

This is Rigby, approx 7-9 years and 19 lbs.. we adopted him last April to a lovely lady in Norwalk, Ct.. he was a companion for her other dog, she adored her dogs and took great care of them. sadly, she contracted Covid a month ago and passed away last week, the family has taken his buddy in, but due to having too many dogs they cannot take Rigby,his owner had asked Dr. Fahy his vet and a friend of hers to find him a new wonderful home if anything happened to her,so we are posting him for adoption, he is currently in foster care, he gets along great with other dogs, loves to go on walks, his foster thinks he is a little hard of hearing, but otherwise very healthy and such a sweet little boy, he looks like a Shih Tzu mix, he is going to make a great companion for someone..there is an application on our website

Sweet was seen by Dr. Gattenuo today to check on his webbed feet for frost bite. Although ducks are very hardy, they can suffer from frostbite, or even freeze to death. If they are in the water a lot when it’s bitter cold, it can be too much for their bodies to warm up. Thankfully Daffy is going to be ok🦆🦆🦆
