Good morning!! Happy Monday everyone! We’ve been out of honey for a couple of days but we have finally restocked our little yellow honey box out front. We are still carrying Gallberry, but we hope to have Wildflower by next month 🍯

Such a great feeling to be done splitting bees and grafting queens for summer. Aside from the excessive heat the bees did great building on the mangrove and now have accepted there new queens. Currently, they are working a slow cabbage palm flow and we’ll be in the summer dearth soon so we will break out the feed buckets here shortly.

Working on some new Queen mating nucs. The past few years we have been experimenting with different types to figure out what works best for us. I believe this will be the one we ultimately stay with, We can’t wait to put them into service!

Bees are ready to split, always an anxious time of year praying to beat the rainy season for queen mating. Bees have been working mangrove on the gulf coast next minor flow is going to be cabbage palm before we hit a hard dearth in august.
