We’ve had record breaking heat and drought this summer, but that hasn’t stopped our riders from enjoying their horses! We are so proud of and thankful for our dedicated clients and staff for sticking it out in one of the worst summers in recent memory!!

We’re so excited for our new drag! This bad boy will greatly improve our ability to keep our arena footing even and fluffy as well keep up with routine maintenance in our turnouts and paddocks. Huge thanks to Ryan Null for tracking down the best option for our needs and dealing with the headache that was delivery 😆 Cheers to forward progress!

Happy “Gotcha Day” to this amazing old man, who happens to be our most senior and longest standing equine resident at Blue Moon Farm. While this dapper fellow is mostly retired these days, he is still the biggest character on the farm! Happy 23rd, big guy!

We are so proud of all our horses and riders this past weekend at Dressage in the Hill Country’s Holiday Classic!! Lauren and Solo powered through a tough schooling on Friday to have lovely, and increasingly confident, First Level tests both Saturday and Sunday! Kendall and Winston were absolutely superstars at their very first competition together, and Winston’s first show ever, riding Intro Level on Saturday. Sarah and Channing had a great return to the competition arena with lovely Intro Level tests on Sunday, and Channing also was Open Reserve Champion Sunday and for the weekend with Laura at training level! Finally, Sister has grown into her own and was Open Reserve Champion on Saturday and Open Champion for Sunday and the weekend with solid Third Level tests both days! Huge thanks to all our support crew, including the amazing .null, our great barn family who came to cheer everyone on, our wonderful dressage guru, , and our fitness inspiration and guide for all their support and guidance!!
