Meet the HCF IEA Team Junior Captain, Anna Fortenberry! She is in 5th grade and has been riding for six years. Check out her small business, ! She is currently looking for brand ambassadors. DM her for more info!

Hobbies other than riding horses?
“My outside hobbies are hanging out with friends, volleyball, swimming, and my small business, !”

Favorite “horse” memory?
“My favorite horse memory is becoming the youngest and smallest rider in 2ft intermediate, IEA. This was my favorite horse memory because it made me feel proud of myself and I was very excited for a challenge!”

What does horseback riding mean to you?
“Riding means life. Riding is my whole world. I love the friendship, I have made some of my best friends through riding. I love being able to have the opportunity to help train and ride so many different horses and ponies! Riding is my safe place, everything goes away when I’m riding, I think that’s why I love it so much.”

Any advice for other riders?
“My advice for other riders is to know that it takes time, it might seem like everyone is doing better then you, getting better ribbons, riding better than you, but you don’t need to worry about those things. Your time will come! Don’t let that make you discouraged, trying your best is all we can ask for! At the end of the day it’s all about the horses and those things don’t matter.“

🐴🌟 HCF Horse Spotlight 🌟🐴

We would like to kick off 2025 by spotlighting one of our wonderful lesson horses, Dobby. Dobby has been part of the HCF family for over 10 years, and we are so lucky to have him. He is the definition of the perfect lesson horse. He enjoys grazing, loves kids, and always puts a smile on your face. Everyone needs a Dobby in their life!
