Good morning!

A little update from my pipes bursting in the salon..I had to order a special part that I cannot locally source so I’m still unable to groom large dogs at this time. Hopefully the part will arrive today and we can get that fixed asap.

That being said, I have openings all day for small dogs! Please send a message if you’re a current client and you’d like to get your pup groomed today.

Good morning!

I hope everyone is able to stay warm with this weather and wind. Unfortunately last night my pipes froze in the salon and busted my faucet open. It wasn’t the clean up I wanted to walk out to this morning, but thankfully where it sprayed didn’t damage anything else. So I’ll be running around today trying to find a similar part to fix it instead of ordering one and waiting a few days for it to arrive. I’ll be reaching out to today and tomorrows appointments so everyone is aware and if I possibly need to change tomorrows as well. Also if anyone knows where to get something like this please let me know! I’ve been searching websites but haven’t found anything that would fit or work with my tub. The description says it’s a 6" faucet from center to center.

I get a lot of requests for apprenticeships at the salon. Which I cannot do because of town restrictions and insurance reasons. This is an amazing business and a great opportunity for anyone that does have experience with nail trimming. Kara is probably the best boss you’ll ever have. If anyone is interested send her an email! :)

We’re hiring for nights and weekends!

With lots of people going back to work in the office we are getting an influx of requests for after 5 PM and weekend appointments so we are looking to add some manpower so we can cover more appointments during that time

Requirements
you must have primary access to a reliable vehicle 90% of this job is driving from client to client this is not a position good for someone sharing a car with another person.

You must have previous experience with nail trimming for dogs cats rabbits and guinea pigs in a professional setting. I’m not in a position to be able to train a new person right now unfortunately and with the volume of work that we do we have to have somebody who feels confident in their ability. Ability to trim birds nails would be a bonus as we currently do not have anyone on the team who is comfortable with birds included (they scare the hell out of me lol)

You must be comfortable working with difficult animals. This is a service that most dogs do not love and a lot of the animals we see dogs especially have trauma attached to nail trims and we work very hard to make this a happy and comfortable experience for the dogs and the owners.

We use a lot of peanut butter on this job and while there are other treats that work close to as well as the peanut butter works nothing else works quite as well as peanut butter so this wouldnt be a great fit for someone with a severe peanut allergy.

I am looking for someone who is available weeknights and or weekends this position could be filled by one person who can do a combination of weekends and weeknights or two people who split exclusively or combination of both

Ideally it would be nice to find someone in the Danvers/peabody area and someone in the Worcester area to help cover nights and weekends in both general areas we cover.

My son is in pack 193 Cub scouts in Winchendon. He has been doing an amazing job selling popcorn to raise money for all of the adventures and activities the troop has planned. He’s almost to his goal so I wanted to do something fun to boost his sales.

Good morning everyone,

I want to start by thanking you for your understanding and patience. I realize it's taken longer than expected to respond to your messages, scheduling requests and rescheduling missed appointments but please know that I'm fully committed to meeting your pup's grooming needs. Recently, I've faced challenges balancing message responses with full-time grooming and childcare responsibilities due to my son’s medical needs among other things. Having a full time busy business (which is everything I’ve hoped for) and a busy family life has absolutely caught up to me. I apologize sincerely for any delays and assure you that help has arrived. I have tried to organize things to hire help in the past but ran into challenges with this but I've finally hired an administrative assistant, Michelle, who will streamline communication and ensure timely responses. She is family and owns Gemini Dogs in Littleton, so she is well versed in the dog world and can absolutely answer any questions you may have. She will be going through new messages and messages that were pushed down by my software and contacting everyone, you'll hear from us within the next 48 hours. If we do not contact you and you’ve been waiting for a response to schedule please reach out, or if you would like a faster response instead of waiting you can send a message checking in at any time. I love all of the pups I groom, I’m so thankful she is helping so everyone is happy going forward. For urgent matters, Michelle is available at 978-387-3663 to provide immediate assistance. ✨Important Salon Updates✨

In a neverending effort to provide you with the highest quality products, a safe place for your pups with yearly Pet CPR and sanitation courses, cute haircuts and new techniques with help of continued education, top of the line products and the most amazing experience that I can offer. It has become necessary for the first time since opening, to make adjustments to my current service prices for existing customers. These prices have been in effect for new clients for some time.
While some services will see a more significant price change than others, all full grooms and baths will now be all-inclusive. This means that teeth cleaning, fresh breath spray, and paw balm (previously extra costs) will now be included. The only add-on will be the deshedding mud treatment. Additionally, each pup will receive a cute PAWgress report with a picture (if they’re not too wiggly!) after each groom.
These changes will take effect on June 1st. A complete list of service pricing is available on my website. Please feel free to reach out with any questions or concerns. I understand that this may be a significant change for some, and I’m more than happy to discuss the pricing with you.

Your continued support is forever appreciated. Thank you for allowing me to do what I love every day. Spending time with your pups is my actual career and I couldn’t ask for anything better. I will keep pushing myself to learn and grow in this career while having fun and being the best dog groomer I can be!

I have also switched over to a new software version and our app is up and working! You can request appointments and view previous/future appointments. So much easier and convenient than going through the website.

✨Appointment reminder and booking update✨

Over the past year I’ve been having trouble with my automated messages in my software where it pushes messages down and I miss a lot of them. I definitely want to continue with the weekly and day before reminders, as I’ve had great feedback about them and they’re also helpful to me. I’ve been trying to figure out a better way to solve the messaging problem. The best way I’ve found is to switch all reminders and booking notifications to email, as to not clutter my texts. This will only allow actual conversations on my text inbox. So staring this week, once I get everything switched over, you will only receive emails and no text messages for those notifications. I will also be reaching out to those that do not have an email on file. Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns about this change!

Elwood, the most talkative, derpy and handsome boy says happy Sunday!!
He’s also here to tell you that we have made a new batch of our lavender paw balm. All appointments this week will get a complimentary paw massage with our balm applied.
We do sell tins for $6 at the counter.

(We personally use the balm on ourselves for dry hands and it works amazing) 😂

Updating to add that after an urgent care appointment this morning I do have the neuro virus that’s going around along with strep throat. So I will be contacting everyone that is scheduled in the next couple days. Stay safe out there! Toddler germs are no joke. 🫠🫠

I will be getting to all messages, appointment requests and reschedules a bit later today! I’m so sorry everyone, our whole house got hit with the flu and it definitely hit me the hardest, we’re slowly recouping but getting there. 🙂

Spring Scents are here!!

We are so excited to finish your pups groom with these brand new scents that just launched from Shniff pet care!

The new scents are:
✨ Lilac and Lilies
✨ Strawberry Milkshake
✨ Fresh Rose
✨ Mlemon Cream

Our fav is def Lilac and Lilies. When I opened their cute packaging today it smelled like I walked into a flower shop (not in a super perfume way) and it was fabulous. The Mlemon Cream is more of a citrus if you’d rather your pup not smell like flowers.

If you have a preference for one of these please let me know at drop off!

We also eggs available again for $5 a dozen. Our chickens are back to their normal egg laying quantity. Send a message if you’d like to pick some up or you can buy some at pick-up.
