Upcoming events with MSGBR.

A lot of you have been asking for ways to help support the rescue, as well and Jess & Brad during this time.

June 8th - VOLUNTEERS ARE NEEDED. We have Wine Fest this upcoming Saturday at IFG in Boonboro, MD and these events make money for the rescue which helps with so much. Each volunteer earns a certain amount of money that comes back to us. Please message the page if you are available, have friends or family, coworkers etc.
No children under 16 can volunteer, under 21 we have separate stations!

June 21st - Wags & Flags Paint Night
Join us for a fun night of laughter and the CUTEST paintings, this will be a good night and a good boost of emotion. There are limited spots available for this event!!

June 29th - Western Maryland Catfish Tournament
$50 entry fee per boat -
Half of the proceeds go back to MSGBR!

June 30th - Barkuterie & Brews
Join us for an afternoon for treats and brews for you and your furry family! ❤️

We also have PetSmart Adoption Events throughout the month - get your apps in and come see some of our amazing adoptable dogs!

As 2023 comes to a close we would like to thank everyone for their support. We are incredibly grateful to be a part of such an amazing community!! This year has not been easy for anyone. As we enter in to our 14th year in animal rescue we wanted to wish all volunteers, fellow rescuers, shelters, veterinarians, vet techs, assistants, front desk staff, animal control officers and anyone donating, supporting and sharing posts a kinder and gentler year and to thank each of you for all you do!!
Our final adoption of 2023 is Ernie! Happy life sweet baby!Thank you for adopting!
On to 2024!!

Come visit the Wi******er PetSmart today and help our donation drive for LIAM!

Backstory:
Liam is a roughly 8-year old cat that was rescued from the streets by Dakota's Dream Animal Rescue in the fall of 2021.
However... Liam was not doing so well...
After many appointments and endless amounts of research, doctor's finally found out that Liam has Feline Hyperthyroidism.
Hyperthyroidism causes high blood pressure and heart disease, as well as severe weight loss, blindness, GI problems, and many other horrible symptoms.
With the help of our community, Dakota's Dream (Along with Randy Woodward) was able to gather enough funds to finally get Liam the Radioiodine Procedure he needs on Monday September 18th, 2023!

BUT THE FIGHT IS NOT OVER...
Liam will have slightly higher radiation exposure until any residual radioiodine has been eliminated, so he will need all new everything during his isolation period.
Liam will need A LOT of things, and we ask for YOUR help!
We are collecting:
-Wet Food- Lots of it!
-Dry Food- Lots of it!
-A Bed
-A Litter box
-Potty Pads - Lots of them!

Dakota's Dream is also in need of:
-Kitten Formula
-Royal Canin baby cat Starter mousse
-Exquisicat Cat Litter
And anything else you’re able to donate
