Just a brief shout-out to my boy Tazz, and why getting help in dog/breed selection is a very good idea.
I just want to capture a quick video of Tazz. He has been a super dog, and we have experienced many challenges. Tazz hasn't had much training time in the last year, most of our focus has recently been on our two young dogs and client dogs. The barking in the background was not Tazz, he didn't bark at all.
Moxie 18 months. 3 videos of Moxie, I need to commend Mark for a near perfect rearing and care of this K9. I have had the honor of being her primary trainer since 7 weeks old. This summer it's averaged once a week. But Mark should be proud because she hasn't had any setbacks, the life of working but living as a pet is difficult for most people. This has been accomplished to a very high degree of success. Great job Mark Walters. I'm always asking for more, not looking and rewarding all the hard work.
Moxie 18 month female from my Tazz male. Owner/Handler Mark Walters. Trying to get things cleaned up and Trial her in December. Love this dog. Perfect mental balance.
Titus aka Ty. Scenario is -
Low aggression engagement. Extremely proud of this dog. He's been underfoot about 3 months and made remarkable success. Titus wouldn't bark, he was apprehensive and didn't have a lot going for him for a balanced protection work dog. Amazing what time and the right environment can do. But I'm just thankful I was given the opportunity to give him that. Thanks to Carson @ Helmondollar K9 giving me the opportunity to find out. He is without a doubt the most "stable" dog I have known in 5 years. He would be happy as a pet, or sport dog - right at home and loves trial work - obedience & protection.
He is an idea family protection dog without concern of strangers being able to pet him out in public. A high degree of good social skills both with human & dogs. Very dog neutral. Cameo appearance by Brian Epperson. And thank you to Sara & Brian for the use of their wearhouse for training this winter.
Our decoy roleplaying Mark Walters great job as the unwanted guest. Big thanks to Heidi for the great video.
Moxie, handler/owner Mark Walters. What a great pup, loves to train. She comes from two of the best dogs I know, but they have uniquely different attributes from the other.
We have the pleasure of working with an awesome 4-month old Mal, call sign "Gary".
