Somewhere around 6 months puppy brains begin transistioning to adulthood. Some horomones are turning on while others are turning off. Parts of the brain are still developing. This makes it a tough time for both puppies and owners. Impulse control is a real challenge. So it's important to help puppies practice easy exercises with lots of success.
Here is Frazer learning how to ignore wildlife. Yep, that starts like this, not with actual wildlife. This exercise works at his level where he can have lots of success.

PLAY WITH PURPOSE! We're offering this 5 week class on Saturdays starting the Oct. 19th at 12:30pm. If you have an active dog, a young competition dog, or just want to exercise and bond with your dog this is the class for you. Learn how to play with your dog using a variety of common and not so common games. You can stick with one game or try all of them! Don't just mindlessly throw the ball or frisbee for fetch. Learn how to use the game with less repetition and as a motivator to train any sport! Every behavior in this video was trained with various games.
