Upon completion of the Advanced Professional Pet Stylist program, I began working as a mobile groomer under the watchful eye of a groomer who has completed her own schooling, and has been grooming for more than 10 years. By scheduling one client at a time, I am able to take the time to understand the individual needs of my human, and pet clients. I provide a relaxing atmosphere and give all my att
ention to my dogs. I love to learn about new techniques and products, and only use the best products available. I attend conferences and events throughout the year so that I can keep up on my education. There is much talk about the dog grooming world becoming regulated through certifications. I am all for this, as the safety of pets must come first. To stay ahead of the game, I am currently studying to take both my written as well as, hands on tests to become certified through IPG, International Professional Groomers. After this, I plan to continue studying and learning so that I can move on to become a Master Groomer.
