Spice was born on 8-24-2024 here in the shelter. He was born into a litter of 12 and watched 11 of his siblings and his mom get adopted while he remained here. Spice is smart and loving, and there is nothing preventing him from getting a forever home. He will sit on command, he takes treats gently, he will stay beside you when walking and he is good for a bath. Spice requires a home with no other dogs. Cats and children are fine! Meet Johnny! He will be 13 weeks old tomorrow. Johnny is 1 out of 5 pit bull mix puppies we still have available! All puppies will sit on command which you will see in this video. We’re now working on waiting for my hand to open to get a treat and to be patient. We all know how hard that is for a puppy but look how quickly he is catching on in his first session! If you’ve been to the shelter, you’ve seen Delilah cowering in her kennel as you walk by. You have seen how scared she is around new people. What you don’t get to see is this happy, social butterfly side of her she shows with our kennel staff who spend every single day with her. This is how we see Delilah. Hope, the silver lab we got a little over a week ago is now available for adoption. She is currently at the vet being spayed, updated on shots and receiving a full vet exam and will not be back at the shelter until 3:30-4 today. Adoptions are always first come first serve (with an approved application of course). Please keep in mind that Hope will require more up front care with her weight as she came to us extremely underweight. We will send her adopter home with a meal plan to keep her slowly gaining to prevent her from getting sick. Call 765-305-1500

Shiloh is sniffing around for a forever home! Shiloh is a female 1 year old Australian Cattle dog cross. Shiloh is a personal favorite of the shelter staff as she is good natured and very intelligent. She is more outgoing however can still be shy at first. She walks on a leash, loves to be loved, tolerates a bath and blow dry and even allows you to clip her nails with little to no fuss. She will be really easy to crate train. Hello there! My name is Hops! I’m a 3 year old lab/boxer/red heeler mix. I know how to sit on command for treats and will eat every single one you want to give me! I do really like to jump up and give hugs to anyone who will let me. I know no stranger and I don’t mind the other dogs here at the shelter! I do like to play with toys but I don’t really the concept of bringing anything back yet. I LOVE the outdoors! If I could be outside all day, then that would make me extremely happy! The hoomans that are taking care of me say I would be perfect on either a farm or as a trick dog with the right training! If I seem like your cup of tea, then stop on in and see me! Meet Oscar!! Oscar came to us a a stray so what we know about him is limited to what we have observed here at the shelter. He is a corgi mix, about a year old, and he’s been here since December 12, 2023. He did a good job at the vets office, when he was neutered, UTD on shots, heartworm tested (negative) and vet checked. He loves all the dogs here at the shelter and doesn’t know any stranger. He likes to sit for treats and he loves playing fetch. Sometimes he doesn’t get the concept of bringing the ball back, but it just adds to his charm! He is all ready to get into his furever home! If you would like to come and meet him, just stop on in! Meet Phantom!! Phantom has been at the shelter for 94 days but that doesn’t put a damper on his spirit! We believe him to be a pitbull mix, about 4 years of age. He’s the most loving dog when he wants to be but also really enjoys his alone time. He LOVES to be outside and will just sit and watch the clouds. He really enjoys taking baths and is very food motivated. He is looking for his fur-ever family to bring in this new year. Would you be willing to open up your couch and your heart for him?
