Peaceful Fields Sanctuary Vegan farmed animal sanctuary in the Shenandoah Valley of VA operating as tikkun olam. PFS is incorporated as a nonprofit and a silver rated 501(c)3 charity.

Our mission is to honor all of creation through providing a safe & forever home for farmed animals in need, so they can live free from abuse, exploitation, and neglect. A core aspect of this mission is to highlight the cruelty of animal agriculture through showcasing the personality and lives of our residents and engage in vegan outreach to prevent further harm. As an incorporated 501c3 non-profit

we are run by a small team of dedicated staff & volunteers and supported by generous donors & advocates like you. Nestled in among the Blue Ridge Mountains in the Shenandoah Valley region of Virginia, USA, PFS is home to many turkeys, chickens, ducks, cattle, goats, sheep, pigs, and equines rescued from abuse, neglect, and the cruelty of animal agriculture. Turkeys like Ricky have at least 20 different vocalizations to communicate with each other and can memorize the ground down to every rock or fallen tree branch of 1,000 acres!! (meanwhile I'm getting lost in a big box store 😂) The colors of his face and neck change based on his emotions. This year, give these amazing, intelligent animals a true pardon and let them live!

Some generous friends of the sanctuary have made an electrical upgrade project possible! 🎉
Phase one of the work has been completed with the installation of this sub panel and outdoor rated outlets. Phase two will involve trenching electrical cable from the barn to this sub panel and the installation of additional outlets. This will provide power to our sheep barn, bird quarantine building and the three cockfighting survivor houses. This will allow the installation of lighting, heaters and medical equipment in these areas. We'll also have dedicated outdoor outlets for 2 water trough heaters and the battery tender for the tractor. Thank you so much for your generosity and support so we may continue to grow, better provide for the rescued animals and make work easier for our volunteers!
