We are hoping the rain makes it here that was in the forecast so it will wash the ice off the roads!! It looks like we will be closed today and e will see what tomorrow brings!!

Swell while the snow is beautiful, but you have ice u set the snow you know you won’t be going anywhere for a short time. I’m just hoping with this arctic blast the ice will somehow melt! Our country roads are so bad, and we already had one vehicle stuck in the driveway as it couldn’t go anywhere on this ice! Needless to say we will be closed tomorrow!

Update: we will remain closed today. I’m feeling like I may have contracted that virus that’s going around. I was all dressed to leave when my stomach got very upset, and the aches are setting in! We look forward to being back to normal hours next week!

Well even though we didn’t get a lot of new snow, it’s just enough to create havoc. We need to cancel all grooms today as Sam’s 4 wheel drive is in the shop so she doesn’t want to risk coming down the mountain and having her kids in the car, plus fresh snow. I am trying to get a hold of two more people to move them until Monday.

I will be open today, but it’s going to be about 11:00, and will be closing around 4:15 so I’m not on icy roads after dark!

We will be open today from 11:00 until about 4:00, depending on if the next snow event starts today. My roads at home are still ice packed and pretty tough to drive on. Yesterday’s sunshine helped some! So let’s take advantage of seeing the sun and shop for your fur babies to keep them warm! All coats and sweaters are 25% off! Update: I am here at the shop. My back roads are terrible, but once I got to the main highway I was fine. I will be leaving earlier then 5 as I want to be home before dark! So call if you are running late!

am going to see if I can get in to the shop today. They are talking more snow on Friday night into Saturday so definitely trying to get in the next three days for you all to stock up on food and treats for your fur babies! Will be trying to open between 10:00-10:30 this morning, 1/08!

Update Tuesday 1/7. We will remain closed today due to the wind blowing the snow right back on the roadways. We live in WV in an area that gets cleared last, so currently roads are still snow packed. We hope to be open tomorrow 1/8.

We are expecting some bad weather this coming Monday, so if it hits we will be closed on Monday. If you need pet food, try to get to the shop today or tomorrow (Saturday). Since I live in WV, I won’t risk the drive.

Wishing each and everyone a very blessed and Happy New Year! 2024 was definitely a challenge and I appreciate how patient everyone was when I had to close early, close unexpectedly and leave early due to my large number of doctor appointments and my unexpected brain surgery! I tried my best to have the shop open and thanks to some wonderful customers and friends that volunteered to cover for me. I wish I could say I’m done with all of my appointments but unfortunately I will be still going through chemo and treatment.

I wish you the best in the new year and sending lots of love out to all of you and your pets. We have the best customers and look forward to seeing you all in 2025!
