We will be closing early today starting at 2:00. We will reopen tomorrow, Friday the 15th and Saturday the 16th. This next week we will need to take opening and closing on a day by day basis. Just a quick update for all my wonderful friends and family. This Tuesday I go back to UVA to hopefully get my stitches out of my head. So happy to get them out as they are pulling and itching! They will also run another CT to check on the swelling and fluid that was still built up in my brain. I’m pretty sure it’s at least a little better as there is less pain in that area now!

I’m hoping to be able to be released to at least be able to go to the shop part of the day if nothing else to finish my holiday last minute orders for the shop and see what’s going on. Still no lifting or bending allowed! I just have to remind myself as I go to do something that I will feel it if I don’t follow the guidelines! Lol 😂 Brain surgery isn’t easy! Every movement is felt!

I want to thank you all again for your prayers, support, help at the shop and patience! You all are awesome!

Flowers my daughter bought me before my surgery! 2nd day home and doing better each day! Waiting to hear from pathology but all the scans they ran at the hospital looked good after surgery. Now just trying to be patient!

Thankful for all the help from my wonderful friends helping me out! You are blessings!!!

Crew our resident shop doggie wanted to remind you we will still be doing our annual pet parade and pet/owner costume contest will still be happening on Saturday 10/26! We will gather in front of Posh Pets Boutique at 11:00 and begin our walk down the mall! After the parade we will hold our costume contest with categories for best small pet, medium pet, and large pet costume, plus best owner and pet costume! All pets will get a treat, and sign up to win a door prize! Contest winners will be given gift certificates! Join the fun, and bring your friends along to cheer for your pet!

First let me say, I have the best customers there are!! So wanted to update you all on what’s going on as things may get scrambled over the next two + weeks.

I am going to be going in for surgery on my brain on 10/24 at UVA in Charlottesville. We have been watching a lesion there now for over a year. I had a PetScan on 9/3 which showed that the lesion is possibly dead (no cancer) in it but it has started hemorrhaging. It has to be removed in order to prevent a severe brain bleed. They will be going into my skull to cut out what we hope is a dead lesion then repair the bone.

I will have to be out of the shop for around 2 weeks give or take, and then I can slowly start back with no lifting or bending. If everything heals right I should be back full time within a month. I am going to have volunteers from my group of friends and customers to fill in! We hope we will be open during as much of our business hours as possible, but please watch Facebook for any time or day changes.

I also ask you be patient with those helping out as we don’t really have much training time! I will be stopping any returns during this time as I’m trying to keep things simple We will still be grooming by appointment but please watch for posts on grooming through the first couple of weeks as Sam could be working the grooms on her own. If so we would have you call the shop upon arrival and also ask you pick up pets when we call, no delays.

We will try to cover as much as we can, people working can take most special orders and we will try to prevent any outages of pet food etc.

I thank you in advance for your patience with us as I get through this trying time!! My friends and customers will do their best to help things go smoothly and will be able to reach me by phone after the first week.
