Charlotte and Rebekah hanging out. They all look so much alike. Having Rebekah is like having my big girls back as they were when they were babies. The one thing that always brings up the tears is how quickly they grow and you forget just how tiny they were when they first arrived. I think this is the feeling moms miss when they get baby fever. To hold your tiny little one and kiss their noses and change itty bitty diapers. The moments are fragile and quiet. You spend such effort being delicate and gentle. Then they grow up and drag trees around the yard. *Daphne* These girls are most assuredly tough. For now I'll enjoy my sweet delicate baby as much as I can. 👶☺

All free. 10 Roosters. All large. One lavender and 9 buckeye Brahma crosses. 5 white Cornish cross girls. They were laying before the cold. I am about 8 months pregnant and won't be able to care for them soon. All have been handled, boys are tame, girls will always come to food.

Baby Rebekah, due in late February. She is looking perfect according to my midwife. This is a major blessing. There is a lot of stigma that women are in more danger from pregnancy as they age. In truth the risks are heavier, I believe, from longer exposure to toxic environments, toxic food, and products. The older you are, the longer you've been exposed to this unhealthy world.

When you get as much of that out of the way as you can and are free from medications and other issues, seems that humans are much more capable than medicine would have us believe.

Not everything is just statistics.

The one statistic they ignore in their processing of the data is how much medical interference we have in our lives. Otherwise I would have remained on medication for years and just been like "oh well, this is it".

Instead I took ownership of my health and education. I'm 40 years old and having my fourth child. The last two were born in less than two hours with no drugs. I've learned an incredible lesson from my own body and what it can handle. This is a gift. We should know that our creator did a marvelous job on our physiology. He knew what we could and could not take and he gave us instructions on how to be healthy and keep our community healthy.

Part of Restoration Homestead. I am by no means a painter but these were fun to do and WILL be going up on a wall! I will be making more and getting the girls involved. Soon it'll look like an art gallery in this house.

If I speak with wisdom, beautiful words, prophecy, work miracles but have not love... I have nothing.

Love is a responsibilty. It is not ushy gushy. This isn't about the "worlds" version of love. THIS IS NOT ABOUT YOUR FLESH! Flesh is shallow. The world cannot see or understand Agape love.

Real love hopes, prays, endures, trusts, sacrifices, tries. It Tries and Tries and Tries again!

Love also has Mercy. Or it would quit, like people do. The moment you don't worship them. When you fix your eyes on your creator one of the biggest lessons you will learn is that some people will no longer tolerate you. Yes you! The giver, the worker, the empathetic one. Because your focus will be one something bigger than them.

Real people won't be jealous of your love for your creator. Honest folk won't need you to be always feeding their ego. True friends will help you in ways you didn't know you needed. Others... Well, they will do what they always did, make an excuse.

Learn to Love, not the world's way, not shallow, not asking what you can get from it. Really love others.

You see this wall? This wall represents a lot! It represents the reality of many things not happening on this homestead. It represents rules, unnecessary emptiness, and a broken heart. It represents a joyless, exhausted, beaten down existence.

Me and my girls are taking back this wall! I have big plans for it. To have beauty and life in your home does not destroy its simplicity. It doesn't make you prideful. It doesn't make you lust for stuff. Denying beauty because you believe it contributes to some sort of slow decay into irreversible sin is nuts.

We are going to be a restoration homestead for a while. I now have to majorly downsize animals and heavy labor. Soon enough, I will be in labor and responsible for more than just another chicken.

This journey is going to be extrememly hard but the only option I have now.

Pray for me to have strength and wisdom and paint! Yah willing!
