Cicadas are coming!
Cicadas are not toxic to pets and don't bite or sting. However, eating too many cicadas can cause gastrointestinal upset, such as vomiting or diarrhea. The crunchy exoskeletons can also irritate a pet's digestive tract. Other concerns include:
Swallowing: If your pet swallows a cicada, it might get an upset stomach.
Existing intestinal problems: If your pet already has intestinal problems, you should be more cautious.

Warmer weather is around the corner! We now carry Simparica Trio!! This is a once a month preventative medication for the prevention of Heartworms, fleas and ticks as well as internal parasites. We also have the Proheart injection for the prevention of Heartworms and Bravecto to prevent fleas and ticks. Do not hesitate to call with any questions!
