Frank- School master type with lots of jumping experience. Also great on trails and recently has been used in our small lesson program. I do not have an indoor and with all the recent snow and ice, he has not been in consistent work. He was thin when we got him but he has gained weight and looks much better. He has always had a swayback but has never effected him. Push ride. 19 years old, about 16.3 hands, OTTB, gelding. Excellent home only!

Hello everyone! I put together a list with a BRIEF overview of each horse in the barn right now. Some of the horses are listed with more info on the website, but there’s quite a few I still need to get on there. Heights are a guesstimate but should be within an inch. Please feel free to reach out with questions.

With the exception of the babies, all of these horses have proven themselves in our lesson program, camps, and trail rides. We unfortunately do not have an indoor riding ring, so this is our slow season and the only reason these lovely horses are being offered. Most have been apart of my “secret stash” but hay is running low and I need to move a few sooner then later. That being said, prices are set for quick sales. First come, first served. PPEs are always welcome at buyer’s expense.

“Olaf”
Coming 2yr old Clydesdale/Andalusian X gelding foaled in May 2023 looking for a very special new person.

Olaf has been my personal baby, but due to life changes I have decided to part with him. He leads, ties, stands for a bath, and loves to be groomed. He is the first one to meet you at the gate, and has a friendly, in your pocket, puppy dog personality. Olaf does well on a mixed herd, and respects the electric fence.

Over the summer, I began ground work training with Olaf. He has an amazing brain and just wants to please. He’s lazy on the ground, and I’m sure that will transfer into the saddle one day.

He will be going to a special person, and I would like to keep tabs on him. It breaks my heart making this decision. I have plenty more videos/pictures upon request, as well as pictures of his dam.

Little Miss Red today, 1/4/2024. Cold, high winds, at least 2 weeks off, no prep…get on and have fun!

Hay supply is dwindling so we need to find some horses 🏡 sooner then later! Reduced for a quick ⛵️!

Red is a 15 year old, 13.3 hand, grade Quarter Pony. Red has been used in our camp and lesson program and is a barn favorite! She rides English and Western. She is 100% safe and absolutely beginner friendly. She’s not a horse that needs to be worked consistently and is brave with no naughty behavior or vices. She is a push ride at the trot and canter with more pep in her step trail riding. Red is an easy keeper and is sure footed and does not need shoes or require maintenance. Red quietly and bravely pops over cross rails with room to do more. She is suitable for students learning to jump.

On the ground, Red enjoys liberty and ground work and enjoys pushing a ball, tarps, obstacles, and follows her handler. She is excellent for farrier, vet, kids picking up and picking feet, etc. She is sometimes a little wiggly to tack but no kick or bite or malicious behavior!

Apropos…Horses and Riders

Jojo is a 15 year old, 14.1 hand, grulla, grade Quarter Horse. I have owned Jojo for the past 3 years and have used her as my personal horses and in my small lesson program. I sent her to NY last season to be bred but that did not pan out so she has not been in consistent work since prior to that. I hopped on her the other day and she was perfect. She’s not a horse that needs to be worked every day but probably needs a few reminder rides to get her back to where she was. Before sending her to the breeder, I rode her hunter/jumper and did a little dressage work with her. I also did a ton of trail riding solo and with others. She has good hooves and does not need shoes, even on rocky terrain. I brought her to a gymkhana and she was calm and took care of me, even with my bundle of nerves. She is a lovely mover and has an excellent jump, sure to clean up in the show ring. She gets both leads and did have a flying change when I was riding her consistently. She is brave to jumps and anything on the trail and not a spooky or looky horse. She likes to work and does not have any behavior issues under saddle.

Jojo is an easy keeper and does fine in a stall or living out. She does not have any vices except she can be girthy. She is good for the vet and farrier and trailers without issue. She is just the perfect pony but just too small to be used in my mostly adult program. In the photos, I am 5’6” for reference.

Snowflake is a 7 year old, 14.2 hand, grade, perlino, mare. Snowflake is a friendly, sweet mare with a gentle personality. She is well broke and will walk, trot, canter, jump, and trail ride. She gets both leads and is brave to the small jumps she has been started on. I ride her mostly English but she also rides and looks cute Western. I also hop on her ba****ck. She is a pretty mover and responsive to aids. She likes to work, easily controlled and always safe. I’ve never seen this mare rear, bolt, buck, or do anything naughty. She is my go to on a windy, spooky day. She always tries her hardest and is a fun ride. I believe she would make a great gaming or gymkhana horse because she has a lot of get up and go when your want it. She could do eventing, dressage, jumpers, etc. Endless possibilities with this mare. I have also extensively trail ridden her and she will go through or over anything. She is brave and will go out alone or with others. She’s not the herd bound type. Does not gig. She is not currently in regular work due to my schedule but not the type that needs to be worked everyday.

She is a dominant mare in the paddock but is out with a mixed herd and does fine. She’s an easy keeper with no maintenance. Snowflake is 100% sound with no medical or health issues. UTD on everything. Trailers, farrier, vet, no issues or vices.
