❤️🎄It's so heartwarming to have had a foster step up to save this sweet girl. She was originally adopted and then returned soon after because their dog was not a fan. Slow introductions and time for decompression is so important. As she was now an owner surrender she was on the list to be Euthanized immediately.

Lemonloaf has been working hard to loose weight! But we got news that she has bladder stones now! If anyone has any of this good to donate, or if you could donate towards her food that would be tremendously helpful!

Often times, when we take on a dog we have no idea the health they are in. We don't want to give up hope, but with the bladder issues and the Hypothyroidism lemon might just spend her whole life in the rescue under our care.

Let's not give up on these two who are in boarding! We have to have them out of boarding for at least Christmas week.

🎄Millie is a sweet and gentle girl. She's very curious about cats, but won't hurt them. She would be ok with a cat that will defend itself. She's dog friendly and loves children. She enjoys playing fetch and couch potatoing.

🎅Otto is under 1 and needs a home with boundaries and a clear human Alpha. He is a sweet boy who attaches very hard to his human pack.

🚨🚨🚨 ETA: Thank you every one for grabbing up his wishlist so quickly! He is definitely going to be feeling the love here soon! 🥰

We sent some pictures of his skin to the vet and she thinks it’s definitely treatable but we will still need to do bloodwork and a cytology (skin scrape) on him to determine next steps to treat his skin!

Sitting at a stop light, scrolling Facebook (don’t report me to the 👮‍♂️ please!) I saw this post and realized I was almost on top of the location this was reported at.

Because I failed to harness my self control for animals at a very young age and have given up on trying as an adult, of course I detoured and snatched this baby up.

Just a wittle, baby, bean. Thrown out like trash. Discarded likely due to some skin issues that are likely, easily mitigated by some medication.

It both infuriates me and breaks my heart that these innocent animals with no voice, are tossed out when it’s no longer convenient. Less-travelled dirt road, freezing temps and a baby bean that cannot properly fend for himself.

He has been bathed in a medicated shampoo, given some medication to help with pain and inflammation and we will be having him seen ASAP!

No worries baby, some people suck but not us. Welcome to PAC, Baby Bean 🫘 you’re safe with us!

When we started this rescue, our mission was to help the abused, neglected and discarded dogs in our city and beyond.

Our mission has never been to relieve you of you of the commitment YOU made to your dog when you took them in.

People have babies and keep their dogs.

People change careers and keep their dogs.

Peoples schedules get hectic and they keep their dogs.

People move and find a way to keep their dog.

People run into issues with manageable/trainable behavior AND THEY KEEP THEIR DOGS.

These situations are not unique.

We didn't start this rescue to bail you out. I'm sorry, I know that may sound harsh-- and yes, we know that there are absolutely situations in which people can truly no longer care for their dog- and we help with those as much as we can.

But for the love of Dog-- step up for your dog. Show up for your dog. Show your dog the same love and commitment today that you showed them the day you brought them home.

Dogs are being euthanized here, in shelters every single day because the shelter does not have space. FRIENDLY. HEALTHY. HAPPY. ADOPTABLE. DOGS.

Your dog is no different than any of the dogs that have been losing their lives every day and if you give up on your dog-- they could be next.
