We want to introduce one of our newest intakes who is looking for your support through donations!
Meet Itty Bitty, she is sweet as pie, tiny, and has a lot of gusto! We aren't sure of how she got this way but, Itty Bitty was found with what appeared to be a broken leg. Upon exam and x-rays, her humerus was broken, had shifted, and started to calcifiy. She underwent surgery to clean up, reposition, and pin and plate the limb with screws. She is out of surgery hanging with her foster on crate rest while she works on healing and slowly starting to reuse her limb. She has several weeks of physical therapy ahead of her and will need her pin removed from her bone once it has had time to reposition and heal.

Croquette has always been a very shy kitty and this has made her 'less likable' :(, she has had several meet and greets but hasn't been able to charm anyome enough to bring her home so she can shine. She is mellow, she has super soft gorgeous fur, she likes pets, she loves this buzzy toy, and she does fine with mellow dogs and cats!
She is shy at first. However now that our social cat room has less roundy youngster kittens and bossy cats she is blooming! She is an adult roughly 3-4 year old kitty and is all spayed and vaccinated and ready for someone to bring her home, let her decompress and be their best friend.

Ventura first came to our shelter with his brother and was very shy, but boy did that change. Ventura is an amazing cat who loves to roll onto his back for chest and chin rubs and is very sweet and passive. He may take a few minutes to adjust but once he does he is perfection!

Looking for a big kitty? Big cheeks, thick fur, long whiskers, outgoing and big stalky legs? Look no further. We have two kitties who would be a perfect fit (bonus points if these two go home together)
Bernard- black and white male- (as in St.bernard like the dog ..since this reflects both his size and dog-like personality) Bernard is a big boy who seems pretty content with other cats and enjoys attention. He absolutely loves his cheeks scratched and can be found flopping over on the floor or hanging out by his BFF Darrigan's cage. Bernard does seem to have a large desire to hang out with our other big boy Darrigan and Darrigan feels mutual about it.

Darrigan- orange tabby- He is also a big boy and begs for attention. However, two things to note about Darrigan... He is fiv+ and typically doesn't like other cats. This means he needs to go home alone...OR with Bernard. We aren't sure why but he gets along with Bernard and visa versa. 2nd, Darrigan can't be a bit spicey... Kind of like mild salsa, sometimes it's just the right amount of spice and sometimes you eat too much and it's a bit much. Mostly Darrigans spice comes from his pent up energy (he is only about 2!) And being over pet by humans. Give him some space to run some crazy cat zoomies and a toy, and read his signs of when to stop petting him and you are going to be golden.

Buttercup!
This is Buttercup, so far she has not been able to find her perfect home (her sister and mom have!)
Buttercup and her housemates were found abandoned in a box last year with a mound of food at Gauthier field and gave our animal control officer quite a game of chase. Buttercup is a senior girl (about 10-11 years old) and is a 'unique' looking cat. She has extra toes on her feet and a punchy face. She also has bowed stubby legs! This doesn't impact buttercups ability to play with toys, cuddle, or hop up and sleep in minorly inconvenient places 😅 she loves a good scritch and is social and content being out with our other cats and doesn't seem to mind our calm tester dog. She is spayed, upto date on shots and feline aids and lukemia negative.
