Can you believe this goofy goober is still here?
Boom is an almost 7 year old Standard Bull Terrier. He is about 55lbs of goofy terrier. He has been with us since July and just hasn't found his perfect match.
Boomer is good with kids and people, he loves food and toys, enjoys couches and hikes, he is picky about other animals, their energy and personality matters! He can be neutral with all other dogs on walks but his play/house friends he loves some and just isn't a fan of others. Same with cats. There are 4 cats in his foster home that he is cool/neutral with and then he's been in a home where he did not like those cats. He does have environmental allergies that seem to be seasonal and we learned they are controllable as needed. Boom is neutered, vaccinated, 4dx negative, microchipped, and ready to find someone who would love to add this egg headed character of a dog into their home 🐾

Let's talk about that thing no one wants to talk about.
Not every animal finds a home in a month, some are overlooked and some have quirks.
Today we want to highlight these SEVEN animals who have been at our shelter for over a year, some closer to 2 years and counting. Why? 🤷🏼‍♀️

Meet Skye!
Skye is a sweet, shy girl. She can be skittish at first and will hide under furniture and in any safe corner she can find. She is friendly with other cats and is still a little nervous around dogs, but she is getting braver every day. Once she feels comfortable she loves to snuggle, especially on soft blankets, and will happily sit on your lap and make biscuits while you watch tv. She’s very active, loves her scratching post, and will do best with someone who’s willing to play with her regularly because that’s the best way to bring her out of hiding. Her favorite toy is a feather wand and she’ll jump super high to catch it out of the air! She is 12 weeks old and ready for her new home!

Barn kitties looking for employment!

Bunch o' barn kitties available! We have dozens of these youngsters who had to be removed from an unsafe situation and are looking for patrol work. If you have a barn or hobby farm and need some feline assistance, email [email protected]. They are all spayed/neutered/vaccinated, and there's no set adoption fee, we just use donations to help more barn cats. This is just an example of the many who are looking for new digs.
