Exciting News from Influential K9! With a sneak preview of our new project!

We're expanding our training schedule for Summer 2025! Starting this May, we're adding several new training slots to accommodate both new clients and our current students advancing through our obedience programs.

Whether you're just starting with basic obedience or progressing to advanced training, we now have more flexible scheduling options to fit your needs. Current clients, this means more convenient times for your next level of training.

Plus, we're thrilled to announce additional availability in our Doggie Day Training program! We now have open spots on Mondays and Wednesdays for both current and new clients. Think of it as summer camp for your pup – but they get to come home and snuggle with you every night! Your dog's day includes:
• Professional training sessions throughout the day
• Structured play with appropriate canine friends
• Mental and physical enrichment activities
• Real-world practice opportunities
• Daily progress updates and training tips for home practice

Unlike traditional daycare, our Doggie Day Training program focuses on developing your dog's skills while they enjoy supervised socialization. Your pup returns home each evening with detailed progress reports, helping you maintain consistency in their training journey.

Coming Soon: We're excited to announce our Mobile Enrichment Van, currently in development and scheduled to launch between June and September 2025! This state-of-the-art facility on wheels will bring even more exciting training opportunities to our clients. Your dogs will be able to enjoy:
• Indoor treadmill training (perfect for those hot summer days)
• Scent work and nose games
• Agility equipment and training
• Rally obedience courses
• Trick training
• Confidence-building exercises

These mobile enrichment activities will be available during both training sessions and Doggie Day Training, giving your dog more ways to learn, play, and grow with us! Along with kennels to accommodate pack walks!!

🔍 TICK CHECK PSA: Protect Your Pup!

Spring is here and so are those pesky ticks! Quick reminder to check your adventure buddy after every outdoor session. Just spent 5 minutes post-hike doing thorough checks on our training crew - it's worth every second!

Where to Look:

Between toes & paw pads
Inside ears (don't forget to flip!)
Under collar/harness
Around eyes & lips
Under front legs
Groin area
Base of tail
Along belly
In thick fur spots
Pro Tips:

Use your fingers to feel for small bumps
Part the fur to see the skin clearly
Check right after outdoor activities
Light-colored surfaces help spot fallen ticks
Keep a tick removal tool handy
🚨 Red Flags to Watch For:

Unexplained scratching
Small dark spots on skin
Scabs or irritated areas
Changes in energy/appetite
Remember: Prevention is easier than treatment! Keep up with your vet-recommended tick preventatives, and make checking part of your daily routine.
