Another wonderful Real World class this morning at Gambo Soccer Fields! These teams showed up in the freezing cold AND had fun working on skills around tons of distractions!
It was so good to see some old and new faces there. All of the dogs were calm and happy to work on engagement games. Looking forward to the next one!

Why should you choose Pawsitive Canine Care & Training? Your dog has A LOT of reasons to join the fun!

Did you know that we currently have 6 certified trainers?! Plus several more studying hard and preparing to achieve their own certification 🤓 🧠

Dog training is an unregulated industry. This means that anyone can call themselves a dog trainer. They might use methods that are harmful and detrimental to your dog.

Always do your research when looking for a trainer! Make sure to choose a science-based, positive reinforcement trainer who is certified from a real accredited certification course. Beware of trainers who use confusing terms, such as "positive first" or "pack leader". There is never a reason to use prong or shock collars, and it's not possible for these tools to be used positively.

We had a lovely time at the Real World class this morning! Great teams who have done amazing work, and now they get to show it off in real life situations! This class is held every month and is open to all students, past and present! Next class date is November 9th at 10am!

Fulfill your dogs needs and have some fun while doing it! We're starting an Intro to Dog Sports class Monday, September 23rd at 4pm! We'll work on foundations to agility, rally, scentwork and more! Our Story

KT Benard is a Certified Professional Dog Trainer-Knowledge Assessed, as well as an AKC Evaluator, and has been working with dogs for more than 9 years. KT is committed to using up-to-date positive reinforcement training, and continues her education by attending annual accredited conferences, and educational seminars presented by the nation's top positive trainers.

KT's mission is to help strengthen the bond between the dog and their owner, by reinforcing the dog's good behavior, and modifying undesirable behaviors. She works with multiple local shelters and rescues, and helps to rehabilitate and re-home dogs in need.

In her spare time, KT enjoys spending time with her family, hiking, camping, and working with her own rescued dogs.
