We are very sad to report that Buddy crossed the Rainbow Bridge today. But despite the heavy hearts that this day brings, we will also be forever grateful for all that Buddy brought to RTT and we will remember him with a smile.
There's so much to say about Buddy—he was a classic driving pony and was the equine foundation of our driving program—and continued to work in the program through this year's fall term! Riding might not have been his first love, but he was a great mount for many hippotherapy clients—he understood the language of long lining and did best when in his driving headstall. He has been a valuable member of our herd and will be missed by all, especially the driving team and his driving clients.
We are so grateful for all who have stopped by to say their farewells in the last week and who have left messages for him. He relished the attention and treats showered upon him in his final days.
We love you, Buddy. ❤
