Mercury the Messenger in Earthy Capricorn has been allied lately with Pallas Athene- asteroid of warfare, strategy, wisdom and craft and today opposes the boiling waters of Mars in Cancer. Mercury at the same time has an expansive aspect to shake-things-up Uranus in Ta**us. Mercury is in the same spot it was January 12, 2020, a degree away from the Saturn/Pluto conjunction. Not sure if anyone remembers the s**t storm that was brewing then? Not predicting anything… just noticing. It’s on my natal Mars and during that time I was so activated in not a helpful way- just a hateful way. I’m very relieved for Venus on my Jupiter in Pisces this time around to open my heart.

Aquarius Season ♒️ is upon us. This is the season where the psyche realizes it’s outgrown a security blanket… that familiarity can be a crutch for safety but traps you in an infantile state of mind. I witnessed a lot of folks learning how to parent their inner children last month- noticing their feelings and their projections and maturing emotionally- I know I did thanks to my peers on here, teachers, and the supportive cosmic shifts. We’re no longer victims to our feelings- we are co-creators with them. We listen to them- we see them- and then we take a minute to understand them before reacting. Aquarius is a fixed air sign ruled historically by Saturn and in modern times also by Uranus. Aquarius is the mad scientist and the humanitarian- they are visionaries because they do not bow to comfort and familiarity. The Aquarian prays to gods of Innovation. We can feel Pluto in Aquarius as internet and policy meld. We are going to be faced with the shadow of power in those worlds. While the Sun is in Aquarius I hope we can embrace the Humanitarian part of the sign and stand up for each other and those alienated and marginalized. I hope more people will understand that leaders who villainize humans are merely distracting us and using hate as a tool for manipulation and that we will change the world we find ourselves in.🪐

As Capricorn season comes to a close I wanted to honor the Saturnian lessons that unfolded in my personal life. What was most present and I think very conscious in the collective is that Capricorn is a Yin sign and is a time for listening or attuning to or holding space for the experience of Life- the easy and the hard- the nourishment and the aches. And from getting to know myself more authentically I feel better resourced to hold the lantern for others and look forward to evolving in unique ways in Aquarius Season. 🪐

Just one more Cancer Full Moon post 🥹 The sun will be right on my natal Mars trining that Uranus so I’m pretty energized. We see the Moon as symbolic of maternal nurturance and safety, and also celebrate it for its changes. For a long time “change” and “safety” were two very contradicting ideas for me… but slowly I’m learning the more I seek safety in the idea of change the less seasick I am all the time. And it’s the same with seeking change in the idea of safety- finding new curious ways to explore what cultural conditioning has raised me to believe safety should look like. 🌿💚🙏🌙🐾. Talk about growth!

My personal reading for the South Node shifting into Virgo and the North Node into Pisces. I can already see and feel a lot of themes around grace, forgiveness, acceptance and healing. We can expect to be faced with shadow work around perfectionism and expectations. This shift hit me when I watched Martha Stewart’s documentary. Here was someone (with Venus in Virgo) who strived to do things the “right way.” But seasons change and so do humans and what was “right” at one point became irrelevant or detrimental. She had to expand and align and I think she’s more freely authentic now than ever. If we look at the South Node in Virgo as a door to the spirit world I can feel a lot of symbolism around the Virgin Mother and Mother Earth. Discernment is a good thing when it comes to Pisces creative and spiritual work… we’re learning to discern what is important, and loving, and kind. The Pisces North Node will absolutely help us with compassion when it comes to how we have been less than perfect in our lives and that will in turn help us forgive others. 🌿🙏🌙🐾💚

Onyx Capricorn collar and bracelet for the soul dog lover. I met a dog yesterday named Galaxy. While I was making this collar I remembered I used to lay in bed at night when I was a kid and beg God not to let me forget my love of animals when I grew up. I thought all adults forgot about animals and only cared for humans. While I have more empathy for the human end of the leash now I’m glad I haven’t forgotten about the animals. They are a forever reminder about what it means to live and to love. 🐾🌙🌿

Beginnings and endings. A new moon at the end of the year to begin the new year. In my morning meditation today I asked for guidance in what intentions I should seed and grow with this moon phase. Rewilding Venus kept coming to me- I don’t know what it means yet exactly but I’m happy to find out. I looked at my transit chart after and saw that Venus was squaring my moon and Uranus. Another image that kept visiting me is a snake I noticed at my work that was soaking in her water dish preparing to shed her skin. That quiet preparation state is what this dark moon feels like. Luck favors the prepared as they say… or something like that. I’m ready to shed many layers, but for now I’ll just contemplate and dream in the magic dark. 🪐

Thanks to Britten LaRue’s suggestion I am listening to Caroline Casey’s Visionary Activist book and it’s definitely feeding my soul. I got especially excited by the thought of “building a temple to the god that oppresses you.” That’s been my goal this Capricorn season. If I want to gracefully express my Saturn with business success I need to listen to what Capricorn season whispers. When the light is dim and the trees are bare Capricorn season asks me to distill down to the very essence everything- my magic, my love, my goals- simplify and edit until you only have what is meaningful and important and then you have more resources to celebrate those special things with divine creativity and tasteful extravagance. She whispers appreciation, devotion, and gratitude. Capricorn is highly aware of resources. And happy Capricorn also knows the original Source of all resources. A reminder that Capricorn is a “feminine” sign— and that listening is the most important step to manifesting and creating. 🌿🪐💚🐾🌙

How do I practice Goddess Astrology? And Why? Many Astrologers see astrological charts as snapshots of time, others see them as maps. I see them as portals in which we can access and communicate with the energies that we wish to call in more of. I can see in your birthchart your natural talents that you may be blind to- but the magic doesn’t have to stop there. We can then invoke any energy by personifying it as our ancestors did. We can give this energy a name and create our own Deity- straight from our divine inspiration and imagination- the place where Spirit speaks to us— or we can ask a god, goddess, or mythical being that is historically associated with that energy to guide us. You make a small offering- a candle and a journal entry announcing your openness to working with such energy, and then you wait. A month goes by- you watch the moon wax and wane and you start to see symbols associated with your deity. It is as if Nature or Spirit is speaking to you. Suddenly, with this spiritual confirmation you don’t feel so alone and your confidence begins to build. This is a well worn path to a magical life and is how many meet their higher selves, spiritual guides and guardians. It is how I met my matron goddess Freyja and many other aspects of myself. I have chosen to focus on Goddess Astrology because I was pushed in that direction by an energy I recognized as Hekate who knew exactly how I needed to call my wild. I don’t want to just read charts and give you a handful of keywords to go home and stress about. I want to empower you to meet and fall in love with your own divinity. 🌿

Soul Dog Designs came about because I wanted to buy a product that didn’t exist. When my friend’s dogs were sick or going through a tough time I wanted a gift I could give them to give both the pup and human some peace. I also wanted my own dogs to be able to wear supportive crystals just like I did. It wasn’t long before I was took a jewelry making course and started learning leather working. I do pack walks as my day job and was able to test out different collars and charms on my furry clients. Soul Dog has just blossomed from there!
