In honor of Pet Cancer Awareness Month, we'd like to introduce MacDuff, an 8-year-old German Shepherd. In July, he was diagnosed with lymphoma, a tough diagnosis for any pet. But with the support of his loving family and dedicated veterinary team, MacDuff started his chemotherapy treatment.
We’re happy to share that after completing his full treatment protocol, MacDuff's disease is in remission! 🙌 He’s feeling great and back to his happy self, enjoying the little things — tail wags and adventures with his family. We're encouraged by his progress and can’t wait to see him continue to thrive. 💙

Dr. McCord, a leading internal medicine specialist at Royal Vista Veterinary Specialists, recently joined a vital conservation effort for endangered American Red Wolves in Tacoma, Washington. Renowned for his expertise in gastrointestinal health, Dr. McCord conducted advanced endoscopic exams on the wolves, using cutting-edge technology to assess their digestive systems. His work included collecting biopsies and applying innovative treatments, such as microbiome restoration, to address conditions like inflammatory bowel disease. We’re proud to celebrate Dr. McCord’s dedication to both veterinary medicine and wildlife conservation!
