Good Morning,
Given the recent media coverage of a mysterious respiratory disease that affects dogs, we at Day Hill Kennels would like to reassure our clients that we have had no known exposure to the disease and are staying vigilant to safe guard all pets in our care.
To the best of our knowledge there have been no confirmed cases in CT.
Through consultation with local vets they have recommended keeping your dogs current on the Bordetella vaccine (a requirement of ours) and the flu vaccine.
While it is unknown if these two vaccines have any impact over the current mystery illness, they support overall health and lead to healthier animals.
Here at Day Hill Kennels we are screening each dog for any sign of illness and would seek vet treatment immediately as deemed necessary. We are also increasing our already robust disinfection routine.

Thank you for entrusting us with all of your animal needs as we are staying abreast with all local happenings regarding this matter.
