We can't believe no one has snatched up these two sweethearts yet!
Kara and Brunhilde are two sisters looking for their forever home. They are four months old and as affectionate and snuggly as they come! These two love cuddling together (they had just woken up from a nap here as you can tell by Kara's unamused look) and would love to find a family to give them lots of attention and snuggle time!

Sloth wants to know why he's had nobody call or fill out an application for him!!
We shared Sloth a few days ago and he captured so many people's hearts. Despite all of the attention he received, which he humbly accepts, no one has come forward for this big orange tom.

Please note that he is not yet neutered but will be in the near future and the surgery cost is covered in his adoption fee. He has done well with other cats and did well when being introduced to a dog. As long as pet introductions are done properly, we think he will make a great addition to your family!

Gomer's story is not an uncommon one here at the shelter.
An old hunting dog, donned with orange gear, found far away from wherever he was supposed to be hunting. Despite the community's efforts to locate his owner, he was never reclaimed. That was months ago. Today he still remains at the shelter, surrounded by many other dogs with very similar stories. He has seen quite a few come and go, and now he's ready for his turn.

Gomer is estimated to be around 7 years old. He has not yet been neutered and we are preferably searching for a senior/medical experienced foster who can be flexible for potential vet visits.
Gomer is working on gaining weight, but is making good progress. He is also being treated for heartworm.
Gomer seems to mind his business with other animals. If you have other dogs in the home, we do require meet and greets for those who plan to foster or adopt from us just to make sure all animals are compatible before going home.
As stated above, Gomer tends to keep to himself, but does get happy to see and greet people. He went out in the dog run yesterday and was more interested in taking a nice stroll in the sun and saying hi to others than playing. He would definitely love a nice house to relax in.
Gomer has a tendency to climb fences no matter their height. It is for this reason we recommend walking him by hand in the yard. So far he has done a great job learning how to walk on one and enjoys his walks.

What a coincidence! Thing 1 and Thing 2's New Years resolution was to find a forever home together!
Thing 1 and Thing 2 are a pair of 8 month old brothers who are somehow still waiting to find their forever home. These boys grew up a little shyer than other kittens, but have become more outgoing and are showing off their sweet personalities more than ever before thanks to those who have dedicated time to love and care for them. They enjoy being pet and are slowly getting used to being held, you just have to go at their pace. They will need some time to adjust to your home, especially since they have spent a good amount of their little lives here at the shelter, but with time and patience they will make the best additions to your family!
Both boys are neutered, vaccinated, and are eager to come home with you! If you or anyone you know is in search of a bonded pair of cats send them our way! These brothers deserve to finally find a home to call their own!

Basil is the last of her litter available for adoption and also one of our many deserving pets searching for a home this holiday season.
Basil is a 4 month old diluted tortoiseshell who loves pets and playing, though she's still getting used to being held. She would be a great playmate to another playful cat or kitten (and we have plenty of playmates available if you don't have any other cats currently 😉). She may be a little shy at first, but is very social and loyal once she gets settled into your home.

Woody, Chipper, and Spruce have had little to no interest despite being posted multiple times and being such sweet kittens.
These three boys are very playful and loving. We can guarantee they'll bring so much joy and laughter to your home. They ask for attention every time you enter the adoption room and are very loyal kittens. They do not have to be adopted out together, but each one thrives in the company of other cats and would do best with some other kitty friends!

Sweets is ready for Halloween! 👻
She did a great job wearing her ghost costume and thought it was all a game for treats! Sweets is now our second longest resident and we would really love for her to find a foster or adopter with no other pets as she has become stressed in the shelter environment.
