💙 She Stands Up for Every Footstep… Hoping It’s You

Dear Future Family,

Today was like most days.
Quiet.
A little lonely.
But still… full of hope.

I’ve been at the pound for 6 ½ months now.
That’s 6 ½ months of tiny kennels, quiet days, short visits, and watching other pups go home while I stay behind.
It’s getting really hard. 💔

Every day I stand up when I hear footsteps…
Every day I hope it’s finally my turn…
And every night I curl up in my little kennel and whisper to myself,
“Tomorrow. Maybe tomorrow.”

My name is Mochi — I’m 3 years old, 40 pounds, playful, silly, water-loving, kid-loving, and full of life.
I just need to be your one-and-only girl. (No cats for me, please.)

I’m housebroken, sweet, spayed, vaccinated, and my adoption fee is fully sponsored.
All I want is a soft bed instead of concrete…
A family instead of silence…

We are so very thankful to for seeing the immediate need for rescue and stepping up to help our sweet boy, Sarge! ❤️

A huge thank you also goes to Bill Anderson & Jesse Crain who didn’t hesitate for a moment to volunteer and transport Sarge to St. Charles yesterday. 🚗💨 Your kindness and quick action truly made all the difference!

Sarge is now on his way to finding his loving forever home, and our hearts couldn’t be happier. 🥰 This boy has been through so much, and thanks to all of you, he finally has the second chance he deserves. 💕

UPDATE: RESCUE FOUND ❤️

🚨 URGENT RESCUE NEEDED 🚨

When our ACO arrived at the pound today, she discovered that someone had dumped a mama cat and her 6 tiny kittens inside a pet carrier last night. 💔

We are not equipped to take in cats, as we are a dog-only pound, and this sweet little family desperately needs help as soon as possible.

Mama and her babies are very sweet, gentle, and just want to be safe and loved. 🐾💞

Please — if any licensed rescue can take in this mama and her babies, reach out immediately. They deserve a warm, safe place to rest and grow.
