For those of you that have been with us since day 1 and know our son River has chronic pain
We wanted to share the post that I just posted to update River's condition we do have a diagnosis!! THANK YOU ALL that have prayed for him and have asked about him! And for those of you that have made his days x special when you came to pick up your dogs we thank you for thinking of him.

River was diagnosed with CRPS a few months ago and we have been trying to process the thought of there not being a cure for this horrible disease!
River has suffered with chronic foot pain going on 5 years we have been all over the place trying to get him help he has had 2 back surgeries, nerve blocks in both legs, a nerve block in his back, & dysport in both legs with no relief he has been in physical therapy for 4 years and the therapy did improve his foot range of motion and strength but never helped the pain. River has pain every single day some days are alot worse than others
CRPS has been documented as the worse pain known to the medical world!! Imagine being a 8 year old kid having the worse pain Imaginable and doctors telling you there is nothing wrong with you!!! When you know your hurting so bad!!
Although it was soooo hard to hear doctors tell us that there was absolutely nothing wrong with River we knew there was! a kid does not just all of a sudden drop every thing they loved and lived for like baseball and karate and go into a deep depression and not want to live like River did. The worse part of River's disease is that just because YOU CAN'T SEE IT DOESN'T mean it's not there!!! If you ask River how he is doing he will tell you he is doing good because he doesn't want to discuss it!!
River lost his childhood at the age of 8!! He hasn't been able to play ball or do karate he can't go to the movies or theme parks just sitting in the car increases his pain level from a 3 to 8 River misses having friends so he has decided he wants to try to go back to school so he can make friends and try to have some normalcy in his life
River is working very hard on trying to build up his strength and mobility all he has talked about for years is wanting to be able to go back to the beach but this year he heard Jelly Rolls song I am not ok and he says that song was written for him! I cry every time we are in the car and the song comes on!! Any ways he has made a goal for himself to build up his strength he really wants to make it to a Jelly Roll concert so we are going to try and make that goal a reality!!!

This is the 1st pictures he has taken in years!!! He struggled alot and was hurting but today is national CRPS day so I talked him into making people aware of what CRPS is I included crps information with his pictures so people can understand what his day to day life is like

I love these leashes!!!
The slip lead leash is a great leash to have for those that don't want a collar on their dog
So many bring their dogs to us and they don't have a collar on so if we take them out of the gate we have to make a loop in the leash for them so I stocked up on these today from Critter's Feed and Supply they have them on sale! 20% off!!!

I have been making dog treats since 8am Josh has been at the farm working since I started he has came home but never came in the house
He just got home and said what's for super it smells good in here!! I said I haven't even started supper yet😬
Just so ya all know I tried one of our new jerky treats and it taste just like a porkchop! It just needs gravy 🤤
