Last night, Bella, a four-month-old Pomeranian, suffered an injury while playing. She fell off the bed, breaking both bones in her leg, analogous to the human wrist. Prompt veterinary attention was sought, and she is currently receiving splinting treatment. The veterinarian has instructed that the splint must be worn for three weeks and kept dry. Fortunately, Bella's youth suggests a favorable prognosis. As her caregiver, I am deeply concerned but reassured by the timely medical intervention. Bella remains in need of a permanent home, born on May 11th, 2024, and is expected to mature into a large Pomeranian. It is essential to recognize the inherent difficulties in restricting a Pomeranian's access to the bed.

UPDATE
After examining what I like to call the crime scene because it's where she got hurt I realized the board that I have propped up next to the bed to keep them from going under is where she must have caught her foot as she fell to snap it. I just talked to the vet who said after sedation he has reset the leg and he is very happy with it and she will be able to come home tomorrow. Sadly, Bella hates to be in a kennel so she is raising hell at the vet office LOL I've never kept her in a kennel because she's the first Pomeranian I've ever come across that screams like you're trying to kill her when you put her in one.
