These little guys came into the rescue. They are about the cutest little opossums ever. Feeding them every few hours. Can’t wait to release them into the wild when they are old enough.

I love the vet we use. But sometime thier prices are crazy. 75-200 on just a spay or neuter. first off that would take adoption fees now up towards 300.0 if it’s 200.0 just to get them spayed like that’s some crazy s**t. And still can’t find a vet that would spay and neuter puppies tht are young they say they have to be 6 months + , like that is some crazy s**t. So a dog or cat has to sit in a rescue until it is 6 months old before it can be adopted out. So time today to continue with the phone calls. Calling all around the state to see who prices are better than that, cuz that’s alittle much for a rescue to pay 200.0 per adult dog and than have to hold pups at till they are 6 months old, some breeds get huge at 6 months old so now here we are paying 200.0 on a pup to spayed or neutered. So now between holding a for pups to get 6+ months, spending the money to get them fixed your looking at over $400.0 for a adoption fee. No wonder why ppl don’t spay and neuter because damn the average person couldn’t afford that.

Now this is just a little rant.
We want our adoption fees to stay low. Allowing ppl in our community and surrounding communities to beable to adopt them. At a reasonable price.
Buy saying this I hope this helps ppl understand we aren’t here to make a profit. Just to help the animals in the community.

Look who is back at the rescue. Bengie mama as known to the rescue was here a few months back when her owner went to jail and her and her sibling was left in a vehicle for 3 days before being towed off the road. She will be ready for adoption in the next few weeks. She was found by a concerned citizen on highway 27, who contacted our rescue to find placement for the animal.

Adventure2b Animal rescue is a private rescue, open to citizens of Scott county, TN.
We are not a non profit.
We still take donations and run on donations of the community. (Meaning my paycheck as of now)

We adhere to all privacy Laws, which means if you surrender your pet or adopt No one will ever know your information.

Adoption fees are determined by the animals. Starting at $250.0 which covers spaying and neutering plus all shots they will need and can increase due to cost vet bill. Every new owner will get a folder of copies of all vet bills and records of the animal also includes a bio on the animals personality likes/dislikes and training. All animals are updated on thier shots and spayed or neutered before going home.

Our rescue Does home visits to your home before any animal leaves our care. So if you have a problem with me delivering your new fur animal to your house and seeing where you live and where the animal will live you will not be getting one.

Yes we will deliver out of state for adoption so don’t worry if you don’t live close.

Staying a private rescue means that I can post any animal up for rehoming at any cost even Free. Even free pups/cats have thier first shots and new owner will be responsible for everything else. This helps animals find homes with out even coming into the rescues. Yes background checks are done on free animals
I work with many family’s that are over run with animals. So if you notice them up for free that mean they haven’t not hit our facility. This means you will be meeting up with the owner of said animal for pick up.

Our mission is to protect abused/unwanted animals. We do not go out looking to take anyone animals just to educate people. We only go out when we get a call to go out. So we are not driving around picking up strays or people beloved pet for just being to close to the road.

Yes we get this is all new to Scott County, TN. As of now our facility is closed to the public as we are building a very new building to house the animals.

If you want to adopt an animal or come and look for one to adopt it will be with an appointment only until our new building is finished being build. Which will be located in WINFIELD TN.

Poor sofie, got hurt while playing. So hurt she needs surgery that very expensive. She broke her shoulder. Sadly the rescue doesn’t have funding for this type of surgery. Looking for donations.

These 3 are part of the litter of 6 that came. These guys are in good health and will be ready for new homes on Friday April 21,2023.

These two came in with 4 others. These two are in their own quarantined area. These to came in dehydrated, and emaciated. While the other are very active happy little pups. They are not available Yet.
They are Cur and Lab Mix.

Please if you see a duckling leave it be. Unless you have been watching it for a day or two, if it’s still their than it would be time to call me. All wild ducks get released once fully grown. Wild ducks are a vital part in our echo system.

Must be 18+ with proof of identification 
If your dog comes in to our care there is a $55 charge everyday the animal is in our care

About the rescue: It has been a dream of mine own a rescue for many years now. started 2023. The rescue is a privately funded. Adoption fee can range for each animal.
We take in:
Dogs,
Cats,
Rabbits,
water fowl,
Chickens
Turkeys
Pigs,
Goats.
Mini horses.

We have limited space for each. But we are here to help out the residents of Scott county, TN and the pets.
