Earlier, we shared an important update regarding potential equine herpesvirus Type 1 (EHV-1) exposure at the 2025 AQHA World Championship Show with all exhibitors in attendance. We learned about the positive cases last night and have been working with state veterinarians in Oklahoma and Texas regarding the safety and well-being of your horses.

Eight horses that competed at the event had previously traveled from the WPRA Finals in Waco,, where an EHV case was identified. These horses competed in 𝐎𝐩𝐞𝐧 𝐁𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐤𝐚𝐰𝐚𝐲 𝐑𝐨𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐠 (𝐍𝐨𝐯. 𝟖 & 𝟏𝟎), 𝐉𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐨𝐫 𝐓𝐞𝐚𝐦 𝐑𝐨𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐠 (𝐍𝐨𝐯. 𝟗 & 𝟏𝟏) 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐎𝐩𝐞𝐧 𝐏𝐞𝐫𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐇𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 (𝐍𝐨𝐯. 𝟏𝟓).
