Rhea here, and boy am I ready for a big ole cozy couch to call my own… I have had a rough life for a 4 year old… I mean I am very lucky let me tell ya! I was found as a stray, and a pregnant, tri-pawd (three legged dog) at that! Do not worry thankfully I didn’t stay at a county shelter long before a nice family fostered me and let me have my 6 beautiful girls while in their care. Once we were all safe and healthy we were brought to Paws Place! I am so happy to have found a safe place for me and my girls but I am ready to find comfort in a forever home. I am a little insecure about just about everything really. A lot has happened this last few months you know? But my fosters say that I am house broken, and get along with cats/dogs so finding my forever family shouldn’t take long!

🐾TONGUES OUT TUESDAY🐾 HIYA! I am Ferris! They say I am one handsome boy, Some call me short stack, low rider, pint- sized, knee high to a grasshopper, the teeny weeny hound dog! But don’t let the 30lb body fool you! I have a full-sized personality! I am a very active, nervous, lovable pup (WHEN I GET TO KNOW YOU) pup who is looking for a kind, patient, quiet home to call mine. Because I am a litte bit of a scardy cat I would really like a female only home. It takes me some time to warm up to new friends. When I am not napping, they say I am pretty fast for a little guy! I love to roam and explore outside and sometimes I get the zoomies and run run run! This being said I would like to mention that due to my shy, curious side I would love a place with a fenced in yard if at all possible. I like walks and all but I really like to roam around and explore. Now I may talk a big game about my D1 quality athleticism, but I am really am just a very chill dude! I really like sitting near a big window and watching the birds! Or laying on a big cozy couch! Sometimes I even sing with them! I also need to mention that I am a big belly rub kind of guy! If you are looking for a pal who is active, affectionate and has the voice of an angel. I am your guy! It just might take me a little while to warm up. But once I do, this handsome, 4 year old would love to steal your heart!

Meet our fave ‘GIRL’ Bohkee! This girl is 60lbs of pure love, silliness and snuggles! Bohkee is currently undergoing heart-worm treatment but will be good as new in a few short weeks! Bohkee is a young 3 year old who knows how to ‘Sit’, food motivated, and very outgoing! She is also a little model when it comes to photo shoot days here at Paws Place with @the_photo_district_nc! Bohkee is available and you can come meet her Tuesday-Saturday between the hours of 10:00 and 2:00!
