I saved this little one this am. I rounded the corner very close to our office and 3 cars we stopped trying to catch her. I got out and squatted down and was able to grab her collar. She has been scanned and there is no chip. She is safe in my care until either someone claims her or I turn her over to Winnebago County Animal services.

Another service call today. These two were non the wiser as mom called our office right away when she heard the break alarm in the garage. A little vermin has chewed the boundary wire at the edge of the woods. I had their fence up and running before the dogs ever knew it was damaged. A quick service call for these two beauties today. Mom called as they recently breached the fence in the front yard. Upon arrival I discovered both of their collar straps were too loose. If the contact posts do not touch the skin they don’t feel the correction. After a little tune up on their collar straps they both passed the “ Clover distraction test” with flying colors! Just a reminder to do regular monthly system checks. Be sure collar is fitting properly and use the test wand to confirm the receiver is activating at the boundary. As always, any questions call the office.

This little man is so lucky. His mom and dad purchased a home on a lake that already had our DogWatch Pro system installed. After he settled in the new home we introduced him to the fence last night. Ollie’s days of running away have come to an end. Don’t worry, he still has 5 acres to patrol. We first saw a “ lost dog” post on our local village face book post. This gentle giant habitually escaped his 5 acre physically fenced yard to visit the neighboring farm where he once lived. I private messaged his owner offering our services and the test is history. Ollie is a very timid dog but still has strong Great Pyrenees drive to patrol. We had Mom acclimate to a long drag leash prior to training to the fence. With this helped him excel with his first training session. Instead of fighting the leash pressure he knows when he feels leash presser he is to back up. Every dog trains a little differently and we love seeing the training “ click”. Thank you again for choosing DogWatch to keep Ollie safe at home.
