HAPPY ENDING ALERT🥰 During Hurricane Laura in August 2020, a family was traveling through Winnfield after evacuating their location and stopped at the gas station next-door to our clinic. Their cat that was traveling with them somehow escaped out of the door and was lost! The family looked for her and called for her and no luck, they also posted all over Facebook but they had no leads at all! They had informed us of what had happened so we kept our eyes peeled…but nothing. Last week Caitlin Hemphill noticed a cat laying on a fallen tree outside the clinic. Sarah knew it was Dyna from the pics the family had posted! At first she wouldn’t come to us because she was so scared, but we could tell that she wanted human contact. She eased her way to us and we were able to put her in the clinic where she was safe. The owner was contacted and we sent photos of the cat for her to verify… it was definitely her! Dyna recognized her human mommy’s voice on the phone and the owner was in tears as we were as well! Monday the owner came from Missouri to pick Dyna up, and it was such a beautiful reunion! Dyna was finally going home where she belonged, even after a hurricane, terrible snowstorm and almost a year later! *When I spoke to the owner on the phone she had revealed to me that during this time that her Dyna had been missing that there was a cat that had wandered up and had adopted the family but there was always that little void and no closure about Dyna’s disappearance… until now! * The Lord knows what we need, when we need it, it’s all about HIS timing! Trust HIM!
