Saturday projects, hook up and get the cutters ready for first hay cutting and Sam got the corn planter ready to plant his deer corn. If all is good with the weather next week we will lay down the first hay of 2025 Monday. God’s blessings for me this weekend, getting to work with both my sons on the farm.

Bi-Bi and Anna’s new ride loaded and on the way home. Anna wouldn’t get out of it and get back in the truck.

Zoie advanced to trails today in horsemanship. Next time if time works for us she will go with me to check cows and ride fences. The blessings of time on great horses.

One of God’s blessings and provisions got back today. A whole steer processed and in the freezer. Ranching by our family provides beef and pork that we raise on the farm ourselves. The pig goes after Easter to the processor.

Breeding season is here. Norfleets Rocket Boy is the calmest best tempered stallion you will find. He is registered APHA and we work and ranch off several of his offspring here on the farm. He has produced color on all except solid sorrel mares. PM me for more info. LFG and we hand breed him. He is a very gentle breeder on the mares. Don’t miss your chance to get a Rocket Boy baby on your farm. He’s getting some age on him so he won’t be breeding much longer.

Normally I post these on my page but it’s not public like our farm page is. This message needs to be understood and spread and shared.

Thanks to one of our neighboring farmers, Chris Smith helping load we are finally finished with the litter fertilizer. Now we just need the rain they say is coming the next two days. Thank you Lord. And special thanks to William Coleman, for all you do for us.

My kind of day. 6 hours in the saddle. 4 of them in Horsemanship. I love watching kids find the joy and freedom of sitting on a great horse and enjoying time outside. Everything today from trail riding with Cabe to playing tag and their first time in the open and through the obstacle course for Romey Ann and Zoie. Gods blessings.
