Pawnee and her babies first time out of the lot on grass. She was excited about the new space this morning.
Remember come join us this Saturday at 9 and watch our students show their families and friends what we do and what they learned this past horsemanship season. It will be a fun morning of horsemanship and fellowship.

Rocket
Rocket followed Benjamin like a best friend today.
Rocket
Benjamin riding Rocket.
Exercising our stallion, Rocket today. You will not find a calmer one anywhere. All our paints here act like they do because they get it from him.
Contact us and get your mare a spot with him this breeding season.
Moved the bull to a new herd so we let Rip get in some practice rounding up the cows while we were there.
Roping
Second roping lesson today. Cowboying is fun stuff. Benjamin roping off Rusty and doing great.
A cowboys rope is not hanging on the saddle to make you look cool. It is a very important tool for us. So it is a important skill to learn and maintain when you are ranching or learning horsemanship. Cabe is doing well today.
Building confidence
Benjamin worked on trust and confidence today by riding and controlling Apache backwards in the saddle.
Benjamin had to do the climb on Apache by his neck today. If one does it they all want to and Apache just stands there and takes it.
Changing horses without getting down
Changing horses without getting down.
Tag on horses
Playing tag on horses in horsemanship class today to learn better confidence and control over the horses.
Loping
Cabe loping Apache
Learning to balance while leaning off the saddle.
Working on balance and confidence in the saddle doing different task in horsemanship class today by undoing knots in ropes on the panel.
I love watching students do two things in our classes. Their first open trail ride and then their first lope on a horse. That’s good cowboy stuff.
