Enzo’s found his happy place - snuggled up in a cozy bed, surrounded by all the toys, finally in a forever home ☺️ So many people helped Enzo along the journey: Animal Control who got him from the streets to the shelter, the veterinary professionals who made sure he was good to go, the foster family who temporarily housed him, WAHS staff and volunteers who cared for him, and the adopter who welcomed Enzo home! Congratulations to Enzo and his forever family 🫶

Thank you to everyone who attended last Saturday’s flash event at Red Wing Tattoo! Nearly $3,400 was raised that day and it’ll all help the homeless pets at WAHS 🐶🐈‍⬛ This outcome wouldn’t have been possible without such a great community turnout, and the dedication of everyone at Red Wing Tattoo. Words can’t express our gratitude for their continued partnership and hard work to create this event!

Can anyone help replenish the dog and cat food shelves? The food supply is getting low in several areas, particularly for those who have allergies and need specialty food. What better way to kick off this giving season - especially on Give to the Max Day - than to help feed some shelter pets 🥰 Please share, and assist if you can!

Several dogs are on either Purina One True Instinct Beef/Salmon or Kirkland Salmon & Sweet Potato, and the cats need most varieties of adult Purina One. We keep them on the same food when possible to avoid any upset stomachs.

An extra special adoption happened last week! Rosie, a precious little pup, was staying with a current WAHS foster until she could find a home. But little did they all know that Rosie had already found her home: with them! Although Rosie’s foster family intended to house her temporarily, a forever connection just can’t be denied 🥹🐾

Rosie’s fortunate to join such a kind, thoughtful family that’s gone above and beyond for animals in their times of greatest need. Rosie has the best future ahead and will provide her people with a lifetime of love. Congratulations to Rosie and her family!
