Browsing the Black Friday sales? Otter’s here to say that if you spot any good deals on Purina One chicken for himself, or Fancy Feast Senior for his older companions, they’d all be grateful!

Both food types are running low in the shelter right now, prompting Otter’s humble wishlist request.

For those able to assist, online wishlist links are in the comments – or in-person dropoffs are welcome at 1112 East Broadway Street when regular appointment hours are resumed.

Adoption Update - Capybara and Crocodile! 🐈‍⬛

The transformation of these two matching tuxedos cannot be emphasized enough! While Capybara and Crocodile had begun to develop relationships with WAHS volunteers and staff over time, they still occasionally felt guarded and reserved.

That couldn’t be more opposite from who they are now — a duo of delightful feline companions who’ve truly blossomed in their forever home, side by side 🥰 Thank you to their family for adopting two cats together and changing their lives for the better.

Another forever bond successfully forged through the foster-to-adopt process! 😻

Dot, a loving and playful companion, waited a looooong time for her turn to join a family. That special occasion finally arrived this month when hopeful adopters welcomed Dot home on a trial basis, allowing enough time for her to adjust — and ensure the arrangement was a good fit for all. Very quickly they knew Dot was home for good, so paperwork was the last step to make it official 👏 Congratulations to Dot and her kind adopters!
