If you have pets, now is the time to do the following (even if you think your pet will be just fine) -

•secure fencing outside (making sure there are no openings, broken latches, etc)
•consider 2 exit ways by door (gate by door so that if door opens, they cannot bolt out the door)
•make sure names & UPDATED numbers are on collars (you can even use duct tape in a pinch)
•check collars/leashes for any damage & replace if needed
•making sure you have enough medication, soothing CBD, etc anything you may need to give your pet
•leaving pets AT HOME when going to a firework show (with white noise and kenneled/separate area if fireworks are near your home if needed)

The 4th of July is the #1 day where pets are reported missing due to fireworks - do your due diligence now so you AND your pet can enjoy the day 🐶✨
