Onion City Dog Sitting is a fully insured pet care service that takes pride in creating an environment where your dog will be as happy and comfortable as possible while you are away. Your dog will have ample supervised play time in a large fenced in yard, often supplemented by long walks and sometimes a hike with my dog. Dogs with good recall will be allowed off leash on trails, but I am happy to

take dogs that need to be on leash as well. I am currently only taking two dogs at a time for boarding, along with daycare dogs. I live in Winooski (the Onion City) with my partner, our 5-year-old lab mix Archer, and our 5-year-old cat Babou. I grew up in a northern Connecticut farm town with lots of dogs, and moved to the Burlington area in 2009. I have been passionate about animals my whole life and growing up always knew I wanted to work with dogs. I have learned a lot from my friend Rachel of Rachel's Tranquil In Home Dog Care on frequent walks with her pack over the past few years. In my time walking with Rachel and her pack, I realized that dog sitting would be a perfect fit for me! I absolutely love having the dogs around the house, and my dog Archer is so happy to have playmates around all the time. I have been dog sitting for more than four years, and have experience with dogs of all ages and sizes. I can administer medications in any form and am experienced with giving pills and shots. I am insured through Pet Sitters Associates, LLC. I live in Winooski with my partner, our 4-year-old lab mix Archer, and our 5-year-old cat Babou. I have been dog sitting for more than four years. Our beloved pack member Gus passed away last week. He was a bright light in our lives and we all will miss him more than can be put into words. He has been with us since he was a puppy and has had such an impact on all the dogs that have come to stay with us. His parents have started a fundraiser in his name to support research of the cancer that took him at such a young age. He was such a remarkable boy.
