The extreme HEAT 🥵 has created some crabby dogs. As they don't seem to want to all get along this weekend which is a rare problem at the salon. I get crabby in this kind of heat too 😩 We are having a BLAST with some enrichment treat puzzles. They all conquered the puzzles expect for Roxie the heeler.. she had no interest so she got her treats the easy way. 🤗 Some of the regulars are getting along great wondering what's wrong with the others 😆 🤣

Sunday Clean up! Big thanks to my husband Cory for presurre washing and scrubbing the floors and walls on a frequent basis. I clean daily with vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, and scrubbing but Cory gets it so much better with his presurre washer about every 2 months. In the 4 years I've been doing this I'm lucky enough to say there's been no known viruses spread at the kennel. I'm sure it will happen eventually because it comes with the territory but I've been lucky. The dogs are waiting patiently for us to clean and get it dried.

Muddy Tails Salon Priority List:
1. DOGS
2. CLEANING
3. HUMANS

As a one person operated business please be patient while dropping off and picking up for both grooming appointments and overnight stays. Your dogs are my actual clients and their needs and safety comes before all else. Cleaning comes second. If a dog has had an accident i need to get that cleaned up immediately prior to dogs stepping in it. I start cleaning and disinfecting kennels while waiting for dogs to be picked up. I keep a close eye on the front so you won't have to wait but a couple minutes. Last but not least comes the human client. I do not have reception personnel and i will get to you quickly. Please do not come into the back or open the door to the groom room. Just hang tight and I will be there within minutes. I often see you pull in for pickup and immediately go to the back to gather your dog out from the pack which can be difficult as they all want to go home with you 😉 😁 Thank you to each and every one of you for trusting me with your dogs and allowing me to be their second mom.
