Nail health is SUPER important! Their feet are their foundation. Instabilities in the foundation can throw the entire body's alignment out of whack, resulting in structural issues, pain, and even a change in gait.

This is a before and after of a single nail trim. A client opted for a nail trim add-on to their boarding. You can see the dog is now able to come up onto his toes and paw pad, rather than the long nails flattening the entire foot.

You should only leave a review for a business if you've worked with the business or owner personally. Even if your experience was years ago and they don't offer that service or product anymore, you can still leave a review of your experience with the owner or company.

I am horrible at asking for reviews, which is why I have so few, even though I've been operating this business since 2018. Plus, it's SO easy to forget to leave a review!

The calendar is fully booked out for August and September 2024!

We already have bookings on the calendar for July 2025. It's never too early to book. Once you've made your travel arrangements, confirm the dates with me!

Reminder - If you have a confirmed booking with me and you have any schedule changes, notify me immediately.
I am only a one person operation. I don't always have wiggle room to shift confirmed appointments to other days or any staff that I can put onto your new dates.

I do everything in my power to be as accommodating as possible, but I have regular daily and weekly clients that are incredibly understanding and allow me the flexibility to care for boarding bookings.
To respect them, I need to give them as much of a heads-up as possible. That means I need your help by giving me as much heads-up as possible for any date changes.

I'm not great at managing social media. I'm a one-woman operation, and things get busy here!

I tried updating my business page daily, and that was way too much posting. Then I tried weekly. Still seemed like too much, with not much interaction or interest from people on my page.

I'm going to do monthly updates on clients with occasional stand-alone educational information. Sometimes, an additional cute client photo here and there.

If you guys want to see more posts, let me know. Your interaction will spur more photos and informational posts. If you ever want to know something or see something specific, just ask!

I love meeting and caring for my clients all over the country. Last week was the Dakotas. This weekend was Kentucky.

Riley gets to go trucking when I've got clients to care for, and she LOVES her trucking dog vacations. A big bed to sleep in 24/7, new adventures every time they stop, and all the snackos! Can you blame her? Enjoy these photos from her trip.

Attention all!

Here in our little town, we have a country music festival each year. I've never been, but I hear that it's a pretty big deal.

How does this pertain to us? Well, our population goes from 2,500 people to over 20,000 people, and our communication towers are not designed to handle that.

Because of this, service is spotty at best and, more often than not, completely down. Any phone calls, messages, or emails are likely to be delayed or completely missed until our service is resumed on Monday.

I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

On today's walk, Riley wanted to go on the wildflower path by the lake.

We're walking up by the deck of our local coffee shop, and I do a double take... Riley is on her leash, but also up on the deck?!

This is her doppelganger that could have been her twin, Rosie. 💜 Both girls are Black Labrador X Golden Retriever crosses.

Rosie was welped on March 20th, 2019.
Riley was welped on December 6th, 2017.

Other than 1.5 years, the only difference between these two is that Rosie has more of a full coat.

This is why I will only buy Shark vacuum products. This is my 2nd Shark vacuum in 10 years. The original is still used for the porches.

The front brushroll stopped spinning, which means no dirt or hair was picked up.

I gave Shark a call at 12 on Tuesday. He asked the age of the unit and if i signed up for the warranty. I was honest, told him I had no idea the age, as we got it used as a gift. He said, "No worries, let’s get it enrolled in our warranty program with my best estimated dates." I also let him know I use it daily as I have a pet care company, so I wasn't sure if that level of use fell outside of their "expected use" portion of the warranty. Nope, he reassured me that that kind of use was definitely not outside of the scope of the warranty. That's what they're designed for!

We did a virtual troubleshooting with the unit, and he said, " I'll get you a floor nozzle sent out immediately, but we do need you to pay $15 for shipping." Bummer, but understandable.

My box arrived at 2 pm today. THEY SENT OUT A FULL HEAD! I was expecting a simple nozzle piece as they had said on the order. I now have backup rollers.

I thought I kept my vacuum clean... A brand new unit sure is humbling. 😂

This is socialization. You don't have to put your dog in a dog park to socialize. I highly recommend you DON'T go about socialization that way. A dog's ability to be neutral and relaxed around noise, crowds of people, children and babies, and other dogs (in the next room by the door) is so crucial to every day life with your pup.
