We’re thrilled to introduce the newest member of our team — Dr. Jennifer Wilson! 🩺🐾

Dr. Wilson completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Georgia & earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from Michigan State University. She brings a wealth of expertise and a warm, compassionate approach to every patient she sees. She thoroughly enjoys geriatric medicine, holding a special place in her heart for her older patients.

When she's not caring for animals, you'll find her cooking, hunting for antiques, or exploring the community with her husband Ken + their two bully mixes, Molly and Vinny.

Abri Veterinary Hospital will operate on a 2 hr delay, opening at 10am on Jan. 7th due to black ice/inclement weather. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this might cause. Miss Josie came to see us last week for a wellness check when her owner told us an amazing story about Josie!🐈‍⬛

When Josie was young, she went missing from home. Josie did not return to her owner. With all hope lost on finding Josie, her owner went about their life. After six years, Josie’s owner got a call from a local shelter. Josie had been found and was reunited with her owner because of her microchip!

We are so excited for Josie and her family! Microchipping truly saves lives! 💗

Luckily, Craig is in a very loving forever home with his brother. However, Saving Them All Rescue has plenty of black cats available for adoption!

KitKit!!
KitKit!!

Here is a more in-depth post on KitKit! KitKit is a domestic long hair cat that is around 8-10lbs and about 10 years old. He came to us around five years ago from another animal hospital that was closing down. He is such a sweet boy! KitKit does have a history of urinary blockages. He had not had a flare up in a while but urinary blockages in male cats can happen anytime and are fatal when not treated immediately. That being said, KitKit will need an owner who is prepared to keep a close eye on him in the litter box and who can take him to an emergency vet immediately if needed.
