AARF AARF is a nonprofit 501(c)3 aiding homeless and helpless cats and dogs in the greater Winston-Salem We are open from noon to 5pm Tuesday through Friday.

Adoption fairs are resuming for cats on Saturdays from 11 am to 2 pm and dogs from 11 am to 1 pm. in the backyard. Watch Facebook for up-to-date information. You may visit our website to see our adoptable cats and dogs. You may turn in an online application at aarfws.org

Happy Tail Update!!

Linda Lou is doing great! She goes to daycare once a week to play with her buddies. She loves hiking, going for walks, and rides with her Dad. She's DEFINITELY a Daddy's girl. Linda Lou is not a huge fan of the sun but overall, she is a happy girl living a wonderful life!

🐾 Foster Alert! 🐾

We have a few adorable cats and kittens looking for foster homes, and they need your help! Here are some sweet faces that are ready to find a cozy space to call their own:

🐱 PF Chang – 3-month-old kitten
Found in a parking lot, PF Chang is as sweet as can be and loves to cuddle! Currently on medication for an upper respiratory infection, but doing well and would thrive in a quiet, loving home.

🐱 Delilah – 2-year-old mama
Delilah has cared for her four babies, and now it’s her turn to be spoiled! She’s a little shy at first but warms up quickly with love and patience. She’d do best in a calm, cozy home to help her feel secure.

🐱 Loki – 2-year-old male
Loki is an affectionate and playful cat who loves to be near his people! He’s well-trained, playful, and curious, and he’d make a great companion if you’re looking for a fun and loyal cat.

Finn is a fun-loving, smart, and well-behaved pup who’s fully potty trained, great on a leash, crate calm, and low anxiety. He loves people and dogs, enjoys car rides, and will make a great hiking or running buddy. Having recently found stability, he thrives with structure, exercise, and chew toys. Still a bit mouthy and jumpy, he’s best suited for adopters without young kids. Perfect for active professionals, Finn will be an incredible adventure companion!
