Due to the weather MTAH is closing at 2:30pm today, January 10, 2025 and will be closed tomorrow - Saturday, January 11. We plan to resume normal business hours Monday morning, January 13 opening at 7:30am. Stay safe in this weather!

It’s Thanksgiving week and we hope all of our clients and pets have a wonderful holiday! MTAH will be closed Thursday, Friday & Saturday - November 28-30. We will resume normal business hours opening at 7:30am Monday, December 2. Contact Carolina Veterinary Specialist at 336-896-0902 if your pet is experiencing a medical emergency.

IMPORTANT NOTIFICATION - MTAH will be CLOSED Nov 14 through Nov 16 (Thursday, Friday & Saturday) in order to have our parking lot repaired and repaved. Mac worked hard putting together these gifts for our dedicated and compassionate staff. lol 🐶 We have had a great week celebrating Staff Appreciation Week/Vet Tech Week and even though the week is coming to an end we want to say that we are truly grateful for our staff everyday. Thank you to our reps and vendors that helped sponsor this week and to our clients that also made this week special with kind words and yummy treats!

This week we want to take some time to express our deepest gratitude to the dedicated veterinary professionals who work tirelessly to care for the beloved pets and celebrate the outstanding work they do every single day. Their commitment to providing the highest level of care for our patients is truly inspiring. To our Veterinarians, Vet Tech, Vet Assistants, and Receptionists your teamwork and dedication make this practice what it is. Every day you touch the lives of pets and families in ways that are immeasurable, and your hard work doesn’t go unnoticed. Thank you all for your passion, your expertise, and the care you bring to every patient that walks through our doors. This isn’t an easy industry to be part of but working with a great team makes it a little easier to navigate the difficult days. Together we continue to make a differnce! Please join us in welcoming Dr. Hayley Holland to our veterinary team! We couldn’t be more excited!

Dr. Hayley Holland was born and raised in Winston-Salem, received her undergraduate degree from the Honors College at the University of South Carolina, and then traveled further south to attend the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Holland graduated from UGA in 2021 and practiced as a veterinarian in Raleigh for several years after graduation from vet school, but recently relocated to her hometown of Winston-Salem with her husband, Ben, dog, and 2 cats!

Dr. Holland is passionate about the human-animal bond and is committed to valuing each and every human and animal that comes through our doors! When she isn’t working, Dr. Holland enjoys exploring the North Carolina coast and mountains with her husband and their dog.

We are excited to announce we will be officially open normal office hours in our new building, directly behind our original hospital, tomorrow January 16 at 7:30am!!!! Here’s a sneak peak of our beautiful new hospital. We cannot thank our family and staff enough for all of their hard work and patience getting to this moment.

We will be closed this Saturday, January 13 and Monday, January 15 for moving day! Beginning Tuesday we hope to welcome all clients and pets in our newly renovated building located directly behind our current building. Please be patient as we adjust to our new space.
