Since the holidays are officially here, family is coming into town and some of us are waiting for Santa to arrive, we will be closing early today and be closed tomorrow.
We will be back to our regular hours of operation Thursday, and Friday we’re closing slightly early for our end of the year inventory. We appreciate your patience and understanding as our staff spends some much deserved time off with their families ❤️

Nothing can quill our vibe this week because this one of the cutest critters we’ve ever seen 🦔

Meet Peanut 🥜 This cute hedgehog weighs around 460 grams which is within the average weight of a male hedgehog. He came in to see us for a nail trim and we hope to see him again soon. He also said you’re welcome for putting him on your timeline tonight 🤭

Today is International day of Veterinary Medicine and we’re shining the spotlight on Veterinary Professionals all over the world! 🌎
Every day, veterinary professionals dedicate themselves to saving the lives of their patients, advocating for their wellbeing, balancing client interactions and so much more. These individuals truly deserve greater recognition and support than they typically receive, and though they should be celebrated more than once a year, we wanted to make today special by sharing a couple fun facts about vetmed with you!
🐾 About 80% of Veterinarians are women.
🐾 Veterinary Medicine can be traced back thousands of years. The first Veterinary college was established in the 1700’s.
🐾 Research matters! About 60% of human diseases started with animals and a lot of Veterinary Professionals dedicate their careers to focus on research and treatments that can help both, pets and humans.
🐾 General Practice is not as far as you can go. Veterinary professionals have many options in which they can specialize including surgery, orthopedics, dentistry, exotics and so much more. It’s truly amazing!

Recognizing and supporting veterinary professionals is essential. So give them a shoutout today! They’re more likely still up thinking about your pet 🩵

Happy Thanksgiving from the Reynolda Vet team! 🐾
We hope everyone is having an amazing day with family and loved ones. We are so thankful for every single one of our patients, clients and of course, our wonderful team members 🧡
Today is about being thankful and sharing a nice meal together, and we know how hard it is not to share delicious food with your pets. They look at you with big wishful eyes hoping to get something off your plate and Thanksgiving guests may not know what’s not okay to share with them… If this is the case at your house today, try to follow these two lists for safety! But remember, the best way to keep your pet from getting sick, is to avoid giving them table food. Happy Thanksgiving everyone! 🦃

We’re SO thankful for everyone who has come in and donated to our Good Samaritan Fund this Holiday season ❤️ For those who may not know, for the month of December we have been asking our clients at check out if they would like to donate or round up to the next dollar to help our Good Samaritan Fund. Every person who donates can get an ornament to put up on the tree if they desire, this can be done in the name of their family or in memory of a pet they have lost ❤️‍🩹 Our GSF fund is dedicated to assisting pets who require emergency or life-saving medical treatments but cannot afford them. We can’t express how grateful we are to everyone whose helped and the relief we feel when we can help a pet in need.
