As many of y’all have realized over the years, Sasha & Co has definitely grown! You have stuck with me as I’ve had to raise rates, adjust your preferred visit times and lengths, remove certain services altogether, and been simply unavailable because there just are not enough hours in the day.
I knew a few years ago that I simply could not keep functioning the way that I was. It wasn’t sustainable for myself or the business!
That being said, we are so excited to announce a new addition to the Sasha & Co team! Let’s just say, my standards for pet care have been met and exceeded!
✨ Meet Kaitlyn! ✨
From caring for reptiles and amphibians at the Greensboro Science Center to managing a dog lodging facility, Kaitlyn has 8 years of professional experience with a wide variety of animals.
Currently, she is a part of the animal care team at Red Feather Equine Sanctuary, where she obtained her Equine Emergency First Aid Certification. She will soon acquire her certification in Pet CPR and First Aid!
While she's not at work, Kaitlyn loves to take her four dogs on birdwatching trips, listen to The Wheel of Time series with her spouse, and play board games with friends.
Kaitlyn's main focus will be providing late night, early morning, and occasional overnight animal care options for you and your pets on a part-time basis.

I met Kaitlyn many years ago, and worked alongside her for multiple years - I was immediately impressed with her. Her knowledge, compassion, and respect toward all living things has only multiplied in the years since! She has already been covering multiple visits on a regular basis each week for over a month now, has met several of you already, and will continue to meet clients to learn the ins and outs! Oh, and Kaitlyn also shares the same values pertaining to inclusivity - Sasha & Co will remain a safe place regardless of citizenship, melanin, or relationship. 🫶
It has been quite literally years in the making, but we could not be more thrilled to have Kaitlyn as an official member of Sasha & Co! She is a gem of a human being, and I know y’all will love her!
