She’s already spending all her time at the whelping box!!!

Part of socializing your dog is just exposing them to different environments. That DOES not take away from their guarding instinct, but it makes them used to you and your lifestyle. Your boerboel should be able to differentiate between friend and foe! And they also know who is their ppl and property! A well socialized dog just makes it better and easier to train and control.
