In our community, at-risk youth face significant emotional and behavioral challenges like trauma, anxiety, and difficulty with social integration. These challenges often lead to poor academic performance and increased risks of delinquency. At SOOFA Ranch, we address these issues through equine-assisted therapy programs that allow youth to heal and grow in a unique and powerful way.
By interacting with horses, these young people develop essential skills like emotional regulation, confidence, and the ability to connect with others—all in a non-judgmental environment that fosters trust and personal development. We work closely with local schools, community organizations, and social services to serve children from low-income families and those who have experienced trauma.
