As you all are getting ready for Christmas, please be aware of the dangers of Christmas trees and other decorations. On that note, we will be open tomorrow and closed on Christmas Eve and Christmas day, and then will reopen on Thursday and Friday. We hope you all have a fun time with your furry friends and family.

Christmas trees should be gated off and light cords covered to prevent pets from trying to climb or chew on tinsel or cords, says veterinarian Edward Brauer. Feeding pets pork, turkey or chicken can trigger pancreatitis, and bones can splinter and damage pets' gastrointestinal tracts, Dr. Brauer say...

Just a reminder that we will be closed tomorrow and Friday for the Thanksgiving holiday. Hoping all of you will have a nice weekend!

To avoid an emergency veterinary visit, don't feed pets bones, anything fatty, anything sweet, or anything containing onions, garlic, grapes or raisins, says veterinarian Andrea Stevens. "If you see your pet vomiting after Thanksgiving or you see them straining to go to the bathroom [or] laying arou...

Daylight saving time not only affects humans but can also have an impact on our furry friends. Pets thrive on consistency, and suddenly changing the time can throw them off balance. They may become confused about feeding times, walks, and playtime. It’s important to gradually adjust their schedule to help them adapt to the time change.

Just a note to prepare for the 4th if you have a fearful pet, and to let you know that we will be closed July 4th and 5th to enjoy a long weekend. Have a safe holiday!

During this Memorial Day weekend, we honor all those who serve and have served our country and also their canine companions. Remember we are closed for Memorial Day and will reopen on Tuesday at 8:30 am.

On this Memorial Day weekend as we honor the men and women who gave the ultimate sacrifice, please pause to also remember our smallest soldiers who selflessly served our country. Dogs have served alongside US soldiers during every major conflict since the American Revolution to the present day. Yet more often than not their names have been forgotten to time. However, across the country there are monuments erected in loving memory to these unsung heroes of war.

Happy Mother's Day to all of our pet moms!

Mother’s Day is on Sunday! There are so many ways to say “thank you” and celebrate moms for all that they do, but the most common, go-to gift is a gorgeous bouquet of flowers. Here are a few of our favorite flowers that are pet-safe too!
