Update on Cookie! This message was sent from her new owner along with pictures. We are so glad she is in a good, loving home.

"Good morning, I'd just like to give Dr. Oakes and his staff an update on the cat named Cookie that was left at the vets office.

I've renamed her Zara and she is loving her new home! She has an older playmate named Daphne who is 10. Zara is full of energy and loves to play.

I was also able to find her foster mom and tell her about what happened for the past year to her kitten. She was so glad that I reached out to her and that Zara was safe with me. I was able to get some pictures and videos of her as a kitten!

I'm just so happy that I adopted her and can't thank Dr. Oakes enough for having the kindness of saving her and delivering her all the way to Winter Park for me.

I am forever grateful and happy to have such a sweet and loving cat in my home. I'm making sure to take good care of her and give her the attention she needs. Here are some pictures of her happy and healthy."
